I was practicing some fire cupping on my friend the other day and she sustained

a small burn, with a raised portion that looks like a blister. I'm pretty sure

it's a first degree burn, we treated it with cold for about 20 min or so and

since the skin hadn't broken, i applied vitamin e oil on it to help the healing

process and reduce possibility of scarring. however, i'm wondering if there is

a good tcm herbal salve that i can use for this? are there herbs to reduce

scarring?

i think that soem of the 90 % alcohol remained in the cup when i put it on her,

and caused the burn. are there any good online resources or videos that can

walk me through this tx process? it's been so long since i had that 15 min

class demo and a refresher would be nice.

Ching Wan Hung is an ointment commonly used in TCM hospitals for even serious

burns. Have used it mainly for people with hot wter scalds. Alleviates pain and

increases healing, no scars.

I also like the Ching Wan Hung a lot. Also, you can use Da Huang powder, mixed

witha little sesame or jojoba oil. Both are staining so make sure your patient

wears dark clothing.
