Guest guest
Indeed time exposure is the most important term. If the voltage were low, current and power wouldn't give an EMF more than about ten milligauss, and this only for a while, not a night. More: an heated bed while needled is very, very comfortable (and maybe it could enhance Qì channels' cycle, too), since we all are about in a condition of Xu, deficency. (some do have very high EMF, i.e. >3 milligauss) I can put the EMF meter right on it an pick up less than 1m gauss. If I put a fleece padding on top of the blanket then we are talking at most less than .5 milli gauss. I figure it is a tradeoff as it is my understanding that EMFs are much more harmful long term than short term, plus it isn't on all the time, once it comes to temp it shuts off. Patients definitely appreciate it on cold days. --george On Tue, Nov 17, 2009 at 2:59 PM, <johnkokko wrote: > > > Anyone out there use electric blankets on their treatment tables? > Have you seen any adverse affects / Qi disruption or do patients get a > better treatment? > > Thanks, > K > > -- > > > > www.tcmreview.com > >
