Here are a few things that popped out at me: -Being the English Lit major that I was, I noticed alot of spelling, grammatical and general syntax errors. But, I realize your site is new and maybe has not been proofread yet? I am confused at the Oils and Christians info. I have never heard that Christians are anti EO's. In fact I am Christian and my biggest customer base is other Christians who have never mentioned there being a religious problem with using oils. Have you found this to be common? COngrats on the store- and best of luck! Heather
Guest guest
Heather, I agree with what your saying. And too add a few other items. 'Aromatherapie' wasn't coined untill 1964. By a doctor and scientist, Dr.Jean Valnet. He treated with succeess patients with medical and pysychiatric problems. He published the results of his studies called, Aromatherapiic, in 1964. This information can be found in 'The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Essential Oils. by Julia Lawless. First published in 1995. I found many in your site, many items from her book. However, it was taken out of context. Julia Graber Girl By Julia Julia Graber Cregger

Guest guest
Oh the christian notes. Yes I have ran into it alot. There are quite a few people that view using herbs and EOs are a witch craft. if you can believe that. I try and educate them. but when I get home I have to laugh,But it is something I do run into.It maybe that I live in a small small Mountian town lmao. -Sarah Natural Whispers Aromatherapy with a personal Touch! www.naturalwhispers.com

Guest guest
Dear Julia, " Aromatherapie " the term was coined by Maurice Renee Gattafossee in the early to late 1920's when he published his book, called " Aromatherapie. " Dr. Jean Valnet was from a much later school of thought on aromatherapy that came into existence after World War II. He also wrote a book called " Aromatherapie " which has been used as another reference guide by many aromatherapists. I thought that you might like to add this to your information. Guest guest
I'm aware of Dr. Jean Valnet book. I hadn't read about Maurice Renee Gattafossee in the early 1920's. Thank you for the information. I'll check that out. Julia Graber Girl By Julia Julia Graber Cregger
