I get rats periodically and this one bite is intriguing...do they die

immediately or do they go off somewhere and die? I'm concerned about

other animals (particularly birds of prey) targeting them for their

next meal and then also dying from the poison.

They die within a few days and the carcasses do not hurt any " clean up "

varmints. Read the label next time you go to a feed store. I think the info

is on it.
