WEEKLY SPECIAL: ESTERS, ESTERS, ESTERS!

If you haven't tried adding esters to your formulae, now's the time! This

fabulous selection of emollient esters will add that extra elegance to your

creams, lotions, ointments, gels, serums, hair care products, and more!

~(NEW) IPP AS LOW AS $4.73 PER POUND!!

IPP (Isopropyl Palmitate NF)

Isopropyl Palmitate, commonly reffered to as " IPP " is the emollient ester

dervied from Palmitic Acid (Palm Oil) and Isopropyl Alcohol.

It offers a more longer lasting skin feel than IPM, due to its lesser spreading

properties. Often used in medicinal preparations to enhance penetration of other

ingredients.

IPP is an excellent choice for your creams, lotions, gels, and other formulae.

Try it this week at a price to DIE For!

~IPM AS LOW AS $4.00 PER POUND!

IPM (Isopropyl Myristate NF) Isopropyl Myristate, commonly referred to as “IPM”

is the ester of Isopropyl Alcohol and Myristic Acid. Isopropyl Myristate is used

in cosmetic and topical medicinal preparations where good absorption through the

skin is desired. Moreover, it occurs in technical fats. Myristic Acid, a fatty

acid, can be derived from most vegetable and animal fatty acids, but most

especially from Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans), palm seed fats, and milk fats. An

excellent addition to your Lip Balms, Hair Serums, Lotions, Creams,

Conditioners, Conditioning Shampoos, Scrubs, Body Butters, Balms & More! IPM

will add a lovely, sophisticated slip to your products! Appearance: Colorless,

Odorless, Oily Liquid. Oil soluble. Grade: FCC (Cosmetic) Usage: 1-10% INCI:

Isopropyl Myristate NF~ALKYL ESTER AS LOW AS $3.57 PER POUND!Alkyl Esters (also

known as C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate) is the ester produced by combining C12-15

alcohols with Benzoic Acid. This is a truly multifunctional light

conditioning emollient, solvent, and solubilizer/perfume fixative with a lovely

lubricious feel. Also acts as an auxiliary suspending agent, feel modifier,

degreaser, anti-tact agent, supperfatting agent, gloss agent, dye leveling agent

& carrier, plasticizer, and binder for pressed powders. This ester adds an

unbeatable silky feel to the product and the skin. Noncomedogenic, it is the

perfect ingredient with which to make an oil free moisturizer. I personally

like to use it to create a body/room spray as I prefer the light emolliency of

Alkyl to the feel of Cyclomethicone.Appearance: Colorless, Odorless, Oily

Liquid.Grade: FCC (Cosmetic)Usage: 1-100%INCI: C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate.~CETYL

ESTERS AS LOW AS $3.60 PER POUND!Cetyl Esters (Cetyl Esters Wax NF), is produced

by combining the Cetyl (fatty) alcohol with an acid. Cetyl Esters is also known

as synthetic spermaceti wax. Hailed for the unique cushioned body and superior

after-feel it lent products, the waxy liquid was once

extracted from the reservoir in the heads of sperm whales. This reservoir

helped the whales to echolocate. Fortunately, Cetyl Esters is a lab created

version of this valuable cosmetic ingredient. Cetyl Esters offer increased

emulsion viscosity as well as improved stability. This ingredient can even be

used as a co-emulsifier.
