Guest guest
Thanks to everyone on their suggestions to help aleviate this problem. Getting her to NOT stress out and relax is going to be quite a chore but it is something she truly needs to work on..... Linda
Guest guest
Hello.....my 24 year old daughter has a bad habit of grinding her teeth at night... Get her to a qualified massage therapist who does intraoral work and has experience with TMJ clients. She should show improvement in 3 to 12 sessions; this is not a condition which resolves overnight. If the teeth grinding is due to an actual malformation of the jaw (not usually the case), she may require corrective surgery. Learning to practice relaxation techniques can be very helpful, as this condition is very often related to stress or repressed anger.
