Favourite Tea

My favourite tea is Twinings Lady Grey. Rather like Earl Grey, but with

orange and lemon rather than bergamot.

BTW Is white tea tea with milk in?????????

Hi Jeanine,

Nope on the white tea--it's another type of tea processing. It's the

same plant that all other tea is from (Camellia Sinensis), but only

the top few leaves are used in white tea. I can't recall the exact

processing of these most tender leaves, but the result is a mellow

amber brew with a light, delicate taste. It's much higher in

antioxidants than green tea and personally I think it tastes better.

I also make a White Tea soap--I make a strong brew, then I freeze it

and use it as the water portion of my formula, sprinkling the lye in

and stir stir stir. This keeps the lye temperature down and hopefully

preserves some of the beneficial attributes of the tea. Origins has

some products containing White Tea in their line.

We have a tea shop in the town I live in with 400 different loose teas from

around the world. I have been getting obsessed with the herbal blends from

Germany. They have 20 different herbs and dried fruits and taste heavenly.
