Guest guest
Hello all, I apologise for posting an off-topic subject but with the permission of the author I am forwarding a mail regarding the unfounded allegation regarding Australian emu oil. I don't use emu oil myself but I dislike intensely the posting of rumours that could severely damage a supplier. I do hope that if you see this allegation being repeated you will make an effort to stop it. Nerys Here is the post sent from Mark to the group where I first saw the rumour: - 'Friday I had a conversation with someone allegedly involved with this " BAD EMU OIL. " Rather than gossip I decided to " go to the source " as they say- especially since a BRAND NAME was listed in the post from a supplier and that brand name was mentioned by the person on this list. Here are the FACTS directly from the BRAND NAME listed in that posting last week by a particular seller of emu oil that regularly posts and did post that message. The company mentioned does NOT have any bad emu oil on the market. Following is a letter from that company mentioned so we can put this to rest. PLEASE - Let's not do damage to ANY business on this message board - - or ANY messaging posting board / group with rumours and innuendo. This is very malicious and unethical.... There is nothing wrong with picking up the phone and contacting folks BEFORE spreading rumours that could do damage. -------LETTER ------ The makers of Blue Stuff brand products want to be on the record with the following true statements to dispel unfounded and untrue statements recently made: * Blue Stuff brand is still an actively marketed brand and user of emu oil. The daughter of the inventor of the product now owns the Blue Stuff brands and assets after her father's retirement. The company's name is Blue Spring International. To paraphrase Mark Twain, " Reports of our death were highly exaggerated " . * Blue Stuff brand consists of only the highest quality products. Our SuperBlue pain relief product (which contains emu oil as an ingredient) meets all FDA standards as an OTC drug. * The company does sell surplus emu oil from time to time directly or through affiliated companies. * All emu oil owned by and/or used in Blue Stuff brand products is kept in professionally run cold storage facilities to preserve freshness. * All Blue Stuff branded finished product also go though expensive laboratory testing as required by the FDA to ensure quality. * All emu oil used or sold by us is pure (no fragrance, no preservatives, etc) and is re-TESTED by these same laboratories for freshness and purity before being used or sold. We are quite upset by web site allegations that imply that any of Blue Stuff's emu oil may not be top quality or pure. The allegations are completely absurd and FALSE. We are particularly appalled someone claiming to be ---- a former employee was quoted as confirming the bad things said about our product. We do not know if this was perhaps the outright lies of a jealous competitor or just the false allegations of someone who did not know what they were talking about. We do appreciate the opportunity to set the record straight. We hope we have assured you that our product ---and emu oil is entirely pure and safe and kept under the most ideal conditions and laboratory tested for purity and freshness when used or sold.
