Guest guest
Hi All, I'm looking for some chrysanthemum tea (a common TCM tonic). I would like to have it in tea bag or bulk form. I shopped a couple of Asian stores and was only able to find a ready-made drink or instant tea with sugar or honey or worse (even high fructose corn syrup!). Any ideas? Guest guest
Kathy, Most Chinese herb stores and online companies carry bulk (raw) by the pound. Also, more expensive would be from tea companies (tea-grade Ju hua) that have smaller flowers. The best come from Zhe Jiang province. Ju hua can be heavily sulfured, which can alter the taste making it more sour. The flowers should be sweet. You can try Springwind bulk herbs and Mayway (Plumflower brand). Also, you can grow your own. K On Fri, Aug 7, 2009 at 8:14 PM, realfoodie2003 <realfoodie2003wrote: > > > Hi All, > > I'm looking for some chrysanthemum tea (a common TCM tonic).
