Guest guest
Good day, The Integrative Healing Society is pleased to announce yet another tour to China this fall, and it is approved by the NCCAOM for 50 PDA's; but before I go into that I would like to talk about the benefits of studying in China. As a student my Chinese teachers would often tell me, " To better understand Chinese medicine it helps to know about Chinese culture. " It took me a few years to understand this, and I never fully appreciated it until actually going to China. In terms of how this pertains to getting results in clinic, I have found that learning from senior doctors in busy Chinese hospitals, has increased my skills as much as anything. Having the opportunity to see 40-50 patients before lunch has a way of solidifying one's clinical abilities. I have also found that the way acupuncture is practiced in China versus how it is practiced in the West is much different. In China they tend to use point combination's that we in the West have yet to understand. In our last tour to China we had the opportunity to spend a week in an Acupuncture Research Hospital in Shanghai, and what we saw there was totally revolutionary. Studying acupuncture in University Hospitals offers many advantages that are not available in the West. With this I would like to offer members and readers of acubriefs.com a special opportunity to join our tour to Hangzhou, China this fall from Oct. 2 - Oct. 17. As mentioned this tour is approved by the NCCAOM for 50 PDA's, and if you register by June 30, 2009 I will give you $250 off the total price, and a free single room upgrade. This is a total savings of $450, and is a special promotion for acubrief.commembers and readers only.
