Guest guest
Kath, I recently attended a seminar given by Greg Sperber at Samra. Though not specifically on the topic of Herb/Drug interactions, I am familiar with his Blue Poppy book and it is a must get for any practitioner working with patients who take pharmaceuticals. My impression of the seminar he gave is that he is informative, interesting and entertaining. I would strongly encourage attending any seminar Greg gives. --- On Tue, 3/31/09, wrote: Sperber: Herb/Drug interactions - can anyone give rec/feedback about this seminar " TCM List " <Chinese Traditional Medicine > Tuesday, March 31, 2009, 6:49 PM has anyone taken this seminar (the full weekend one). do you recommend it? is it heavily ladened with western terminology? is the material you learned helpful to your herbal practice? was it interesting and enjoyable? i appreciate hearing your thoughts. Guest guest
Dr. Greg Sperber is an excellent instructor, practitioner and scholar. He went through the MSTOM program at PCOM in the ninety's, then he went through allopathic medical school. He then returned to PCOM and went through the DAOM program. That's when I met him and we graduated from the DAOM program together. He is just an outstanding person and practitioner, and I highly recommend his seminars and respect his knowledge of both medicines. It will be well worth you time and effort. Greg is also a real specialist when it comes to OM psych and emotional disorders. I refer my difficult cases to him and defer to his judgement. Sincerely, Dr. Donald J. Snow, Jr., DAOM, MPH, L.Ac.
