Guest guest
I've read The China Study also. There is one thing missing in the stats.... Chinese people tend to be less sedentary than Americans. That's a big reason we have higher rates of CV dz, diabetes etc... As far as food goes, Chinese tend to eat smaller cuts of meat (mainly for taste) mixed in with noodles and veggies, not as the main course. Also, eating slower, seasonal and locally grown produce and not eating alone all contribute to better health. Those are difficult things to put into a controlled study. As far as teachings go, do not rely upon the words alone, but rely upon the meaning that underlies them. Regarding the meaning, do not rely upon the provisional meaning alone, but rely upon the definitive meaning. And regarding the definitive meaning, do not rely upon ordinary consciousness, but rely upon wisdom awareness.
