The review on aspartame is unacceptable since aspartame has been

established as a chemical poison, an addictive, excitoneurotoxic,

genetically engineered, carcinogenic drug and adjuvant. It damages

the mitochondria and interacts with drugs and vaccines as discussed

in the 1000 page medical text, Aspartame Disease: An Ignored

Epidemic, by world expert H. J. Roberts, M.D.

I think we need to go over the facts. First of all after three

decades doesn't it stand to reason we know what aspartame

causes? How long did it take to find out about

Thalidomide? Secondly, the FDA wanted G. D. Searle indicted for

fraud because they were trying to make this poison show safety and

couldn't. They got caught. They did things like remove the brain

tumors from the rats and put them back in the study, and then

resurrected them on paper. http://www.rense.com/general88/hid.htm

Both US Prosecutors hired on with the defense team and the statute of

limitations expired. Then the FDA Board of Inquiry revoked the

petition for approval. http://www.mpwhi.com/fda_petition1.doc

Immediately Searle filed suit to prevent it being signed into law

immediately. Don Rumsfeld who was CEO of Searle said he would call

in his markers and get it on the market anyway. Indeed President

Reagan owed him a favor since he had told Rumsfeld he would nominate

him for Vice President and instead nominated Bush. Reagan paid the

debt. He wrote an Executive Order making the FDA powerless to do

anything about aspartame until he could get Arthur Hull Hayes to FDA

as new commissioner to over-rule the Board of Inquiry. His

transition team called FDA Commissioner Dr. Jere Goyan at 3:00 AM and

fired him so he could not sign the revoked petition into law. Here

is the letter from his wife who was there at the time.

oyan.pdf

Hayes over-ruled the Board of Inquiry and allowed this chemical

poison on the market. Immediately the FDA was swamped with

complaints as people were poisoned. Senator Orrin Hatch, friend of

Monsanto who received funds, kept congressional hearings from

happening until 1985. At that time it was admitted FDA was receiving

so many complaints from people using this poison they were sending

them to the AIDS Hotline. The FDA toxicologists who were on site with

the aspartame investigation testified. Dr. Jacqueline Verrett

testifying in 1987 said aspartame still had not been proven safe, and

it had been on the market then legally for 6 years. She said all

studies were built on a foundation of sand and should be thrown out.

http://www.mpwhi.com/j_verrett_testimony.pdf

Dr. Adrian Gross, FDA toxicologist and scientist testified in 1985:

On August 1, l985 FDA's toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross, told

Congress at least one of Searle's studies " has established beyond ANY

REASONABLE DOUBT that aspartame is capable of inducing brain tumors

in experimental animals and that this predisposition of it is of

extremely high significance. ... In view of these indications that

the cancer causing potential of aspartame is a matter that had been

established WAY BEYOND ANY REASONABLE DOUBT, one can ask: What is the

reason for the apparent refusal by the FDA to invoke for this food

additive the so-called Delaney Amendment to the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act? "

The Delaney Amendment makes it illegal to allow any residues of

cancer causing chemicals in foods. In his concluding testimony Gross

asked, " Given the cancer causing potential of aspartame how would the

FDA justify its position that it views a certain amount of aspartame

as constituting an allowable daily intake or 'safe' level of it? Is

that position in effect not equivalent to setting a 'tolerance' for

this food additive and thus a violation of that law? And if the FDA

itself elects to violate the law, who is left to protect the health

of the public? " Congressional Record SID835:131 (August 1, l985)

Aspartame is illegal. The protest of the National Soft Drink

Association, now American Beverage, was added to the congressional

hearing because after 30 pages of protest the aspartame manufacturer

obviously got to them as they turned around and lobbied for

NutraSweet. http://www.mpwhi.com/open_letter_dick_adamson.htm If you

read the protest, (and you can read the entire Congressional hearings

on www.mpwhi.com, scroll down to banners,) you will note one of the

things they questioned was adulteration even quoting the

law. Aspartame breaks down at 86 degrees or moderate temperature

into a witches brew of poisons. They even admitted Searle used the

wrong test to make sure the aspartic acid, an excitotoxin, was not

picked up. Because aspartame is adulterated, again it is illegal

and even violates Interstate Commerce laws. No other studies were

done - the manufacturer simply got to them. Did they explain that

aspartame is a cash cow because of the addiction? The free methyl

alcohol in aspartame is classified as a narcotic and causes chronic

methanol poisoning. This affects the dopamine system of the brain

and causes the addiction. Aspartame is illegally on the

market also because its a neurotoxic drug and not an additive.

Up to this point we're talking about the United States. Then Searle

made a business deal with Paul Turner in the agency in England and he

approved aspartame without anyone knowing about it. Parliament had a

big blow out but never rescinded the approval. Here's the famous

Guardian article about what

happened.

http://www.mpwhi.com/how_aspartame_got_approved_in_england.htm So the

agency in England failed to protect the British people. There were

no studies done. Nor did they question the free methyl alcohol in

aspartame which converts to formaldehyde and embalms living tissue as

the Trocho Study in Barcelona has shown. In molecular chemistry you

have one molecule of aspartic acid, the excitotoxin, to one molecule

of methanol to one molecule of phenylalanine, the neurotoxin at 50%

and an isolate. The whole molecule breaks down to diketopiperazine,

the brain tumor agent. So you're talking about 33 per cent free

methyl alcohol. This is also why so many are getting macular

degeneration, optic neuritis, retinal detachments and going

blind. During prohibition in the US thousands went blind or died on

this wood alcohol, and they are doing the same thing with

aspartame.

The issue of the methyl alcohol was brought up to Food Standards by

Jim McDonald of the UK Awareness Campaign. Here is my report on the

subject.

http://www.mpwhi.com/statement_for_food_standards_october_2009.htm

Dr. Johnson of Food Standards advised me there would be no

agreement. In other words no amount of proof would be sufficient

because Food Standards which was set up to keep its distance from

industry is now guided by industry.

http://www.mpwhi.com/response_letter_to_fsa.htm

In fruits and vegetables there is methanol but its bound by pectin

and taken safely out of the body. Also there is ethanol which is the

classic antidote to methanol toxicity. In aspartame the free methyl

alcohol is not bound and converts to formaldehyde and embalms living

tissue. When I spoke to Dr. Alemany, the researcher in Barcelona

about his study he said aspartame would kill 200 million. I suspect

it already has because of the neurodegenerative diseases it can

trigger and precipitate, the epidemics of diabetes and obesity that

aspartame is responsible for, the cancers, birth defects and other

horrors listed in the medical text. Also aspartame is an

abortifacient and many women have lost as many as 8 babies not

realizing this fact. Some never even get pregnant because aspartame

is an endocrine disrupting agent, stimulating prolactin and changing

the menses. So if someone stops the aspartame and actually gets

pregnant, and then gets back on it, they can either lose the baby or

have a child with birth defects or even cancer.

It was extremely offensive when Dr. Soffritti did the Ramazzini

Studies for EFSA to rebut a million dollar independent study that had

been peer reviewed by 7 world experts. To begin with the rebuttal

was foolishness. This study was for the life of the rat and proved

beyond any shadow of a doubt that aspartame is a multipotential

carcinogen. Yet EFSA said the rats had respiratory disease. We all

laughed since, of course, respiratory disease is the dying

process. Finally Dr. Koeter confessed that industry had pressured

them to hijack science and then he left EFSA. Dr. Soffritti's second

study showed not only does aspartame cause cancer but that it only

takes a small amount, and if taken during pregnancy, and the baby

survives since aspartame triggers birth defects and mental

retardation, the offspring can grow up to cancer.

I've been taking the case histories for 19 years and it has been my

experience the aspartame industry simply wants a rebuttal so they can

say they don't accept a study, and it doesn't matter how foolish the

rebuttal is. In fact, industry didn't know what to do because the

Ramazzini Studies are so prestigious so all of a sudden they said

there was this big study that proved no one got cancer. We call it

the oatmeal brownie study because all it was is some AARP members

answering a multi-food form to see if they could remember what they

ate in the last year. Also, it questioned if they had eaten,

strawberries, oatmeal, brownies or had a hysterectomy. Aspartame was

only mentioned once. Read it and

see: http://www.wnho.net/halt_the_spin_on_bogus_studies.htm

We've always known aspartame causes cancer and in original studies it

caused adenocarcinoma, brain, mammary, uterine, ovarian, testicular,

pancreatic and thyroid tumors for starters. In the FDA Task Force,

and Bressler Report, it was admitted they filtered out neoplasms and

anything they didn't want the FDA to see.

The modus operandi of industry is to rebut but even when shown to be

wrong, they never change the record or apologize. In the case of the

Trocho Study which is one of the most damning because it shows the

body to be embalmed with formaldehyde they used Tephly. However,

Tephly admitted he used the wrong test, and flacks are experts at

dong that. Yet that rebuttal remains. You'll find it on Food

Standards web site even though they have been told over and over to

remove it because its not valid.

So in EFSA's report this time we see independent studies rebutted

again. Who rebutted them? Are they world renowned researchers who

have done studies on aspartame independently and have no link to

industry or those connected with industry? I think an investigation

should be done immediately, and the names made public.

As to anecdotal reports, or case histories from the sick and dying on

aspartame, they never stop, of course, and many have perished from

this poison. So let's look at one that just came in and discuss

it. I'll continue below the case.

Case History:

Kristi Siegel, Ph.D., Professor of English

59 y.o.

Relevant medical background:

* Hypertension diagnosed (idiopathic) - 1977 (have taken

spironolactone for past 33 years)

* Bilateral retinal detachment -January 1979; scleral buckles on

both eyes and repair of retinal tears

* Radial Keratotomy (both eyes) - July 1992

In mid-January 2010, in an effort to drink more fluids, I started

using Crystal Light. In the past, with the exception of Sweet & Low,

which I use in my coffee in the morning, I rarely used any artificial

sweeteners as I don't like the taste of diet drinks and artificially

sweetened food. Given that I was trying to drink the recommended 8

glasses of water a day, I was drinking that equivalent flavored with

Crystal Light.

Due to the eye surgeries noted above, my vision has worsened over the

past five years. Doctors are finding that many patients who've had

radial keratotomy (which was approved prior to Lasix surgery) start

to develop " unstable cornea " about 10 years post-surgery. To see if

anything could be done, I'd made an appointment with an

ophthalmologist on January 22, 2010. Given my medical history, she

did a thorough workup including a complete examination of my retinas,

which she said were in good health. She had few suggestions to remedy

my problem and advised that I see a cornea specialist.

Shortly after seeing the ophthalmologist and about two weeks or so

into my Crystal Light regimen, I had my first episode of vision loss.

This incident was completely different in degree and kind than the

normal visual problems (increased far-sightedness and visual

lability) I had been experiencing. Rather abruptly, I lost the visual

field of the left hemisphere of my left eye. The vision loss lasted

for about 20 or 30 minutes and after approximately 15 minutes, I

started to develop a crushing headache which lasted for hours. I've

never had a history of headaches, so the intensity and duration of

this headache was unusual. My husband wanted me to go to the

emergency room right away, but I pointed out that I had an

appointment scheduled with a cornea specialist on February 11. Prior

to seeing the second eye doctor, I had a couple more incidents of

vision loss and bilateral, crushing headaches that lasted several

hours, and included abdominal bloating, reflux, and a lot of ambient

noise (not really ringing in my ears, just more of a rushing noise).

Each episode left me feeling weak and tired for days.

The cornea specialist, after hearing about the vision loss, dilated

my eyes again, and also pronounced my retinas perfectly healthy.

However, he felt it was important to rule out strokes or

heart-related problems. Over the next few weeks - and I continued to

have episodes during this time - I had a number of tests: a brain

MRI, a carotid Doppler study, and a trans-thoracic echocardiogram

with bubble study. All of these tests were negative.

While I was happy that the tests did not show any problems, I

continued to feel worse. I averaged a couple of episodes a week, and

in addition to the full complex of symptoms (auras, visual loss in

one or both eyes, headaches, bloating, ambient noise, and reflux), I

felt slightly nauseous, fatigued, and dizzy. On Friday, February 26,

when I was with a group of colleagues conducting phone interviews for

candidates in a search (we were interviewing for new assistant

professor in the English Department), I lost my entire center field

of vision. We were interviewing the fifth and final candidate, and I

didn't want to mention my situation. By that time, I'd asked my

interview questions so many times that I didn't need to refer to the

interview sheet (which I could no longer read). However, in

responding to a question the interviewee asked, I stumbled over two

words, and then was completely unable to pronounce or understand the

third word. In addition, I no longer understood what the words meant

or what I had been trying to say. At the same time, there was a loud,

rushing noise, and I felt completely confused. Within a few seconds,

when I could conjure up some speech, I asked the search committee

chair if she could " talk for me. " When we completed that interview, I

did tell the committee that I'd been experiencing vision loss,

headaches, but had never had the expressive and receptive aphasia

that had occurred a few minutes earlier.

I didn't have a headache, but I was very dizzy and disoriented and

asked one of the faculty there to walk me back to my office. When I

called my husband, he insisted on taking me to the ER immediately. I

was in the ER for several hours while they did histories and then

decided to do a cerebral MRA (they used a contrast dye). This test

was really the last one left to determine whether these problems were

heart or stroke related, and the test was negative. While I was in

the ER, I was startled to see that my pulse was only in the high 50s.

Normally my pulse is high and has been so my entire adult life.

Generally, it has always been in the 80s or higher, no matter how

physically fit I am (and I'm not overweight). When I fell asleep in

the ER, my husband said my pulse dropped into the 40s. My blood

pressure was equally odd. Although I take anti-hypertensives, my

normal blood pressure tends to be borderline high (130-140 over

80-100). At the hospital it was consistently low - around 120/60,

which was atypical. I've since read that Aspartame can mime the

symptoms of hypothyroidism, so I wonder if this could explain my

pulse/blood pressure anomaly. ***Out of curiosity, I just took my

pulse. Although I'm completely relaxed at the moment, my pulse is 83

bpm, which is in my normal range.

Before I was discharged from the ER, they diagnosed " complex

migraines " (and this is a term not really used anymore), which can

mimic strokes, and prescribed Topomate 25 MG. I took my first and

only dose of that medicine on Saturday night, February 27. I had a

very strong reaction to the medicine - a lot of dizziness, weakness,

brain fog, and constant cramping and diarrhea. It took over two days

to recover from the Topomate, and the combination of the episode on

Friday and my reaction to the Topomate left me weak, dizzy, and

extremely tired that whole next week. With the exception of teaching

my classes, I missed every appointment and meeting for the next several days.

Although all serious problems had been ruled out, I continued to have

episodes (negative and positive scotoma, headaches, nausea, bloating,

reflux, etc.) and felt generally tired, mentally compromised, and

weak. My husband was concerned at my overall poor health, the

continued episodes, and the danger these sudden and unpredictable

vision losses posed, particularly when I was driving.

On March 8, at my husband's insistence, I saw a neurologist who

specialized in migraines and ophthalmology. He really had very little

to add, other than to suggest that I try to isolate what my

" triggers " might be. Given that the episodes seemed to occur in

varying situations, I couldn't isolate a specific trigger. It was,

perhaps, a week later, when I remembered I had started drinking

Crystal Light in mid- to late-January. After reading about Aspartame,

I eliminated it from my diet.

Although I did not start to feel better immediately, I have not had

another episode since eliminating Aspartame from my diet. I've been

diligent about checking food labels for this substance as well.

It's really been just in the past two weeks that I started to regain

my energy and feel sharper intellectually. As I started to feel

better, I became more angry. Aspartame effectively compromised my

health for months. I've been questioned by my college's Provost about

my health (and I don't think she realizes her questions were

completely illegal) and made to feel like damaged goods in a

profession where I'd always been viewed as stellar faculty member.

I'm a full professor, have published extensively, and, in addition to

teaching, direct a graduate program and a division of three

departments. This past semester, I've been compromised both

professionally and personally. My family (my husband and four grown

children) have been very worried, and I've repeatedly had to beg off

any social events because I just wasn't up to it.

Given the clear borders - my episodes started after taking Aspartame

and ended when it was eliminated - there is no doubt in my mind or my

husband's that Aspartame caused the health problems I experienced.

While my husband would prefer to stay in the role of

husband-observer, rather than medical expert, he is a superb

cardiologist and excellent diagnostician. He said I could use his

name, but does not want to be in the position of an expert regarding

Aspartame's side effects, even though my situation could only be

explained by the effects of Aspartame. Knowing how diligent he is

about studying a subject before drawing conclusions, I know he wants

to read more about this substance.

I've been telling friends and relatives to eliminate Aspartame from

their diets. I have one friend, who drinks several large bottles of

diet Coke a day. Over the years, she's tried to wean herself from

this habit several times and has failed. I worry about her addiction

as well as the health hazards Aspartame poses. I thought it was

striking when I read that alcoholics have described having more

severe withdrawal symptoms from eliminating Aspartame than from

giving up alcohol.

I firmly believe that Aspartame poses a serious risk to the general

public and should be removed from the market. I've studied the

techniques of the pharmaceutical companies at length and know how

easy it is to taint what are supposedly peer-reviewed and credible

medical trials. Substances are often approved by the FDA

precipitously and without sufficient study or with studies that are

corrupt. In the case of Aspartame, the entrenched interests of those

profiting makes this a particularly difficult battle. Please let me

know if there is anything I can do.

Warm regards,

Kristi Siegel, Ph.D., Professor of English

Mount Mary College

Ronald Siegel, M.D.Associate Professor of Cardiology

Medical College of Wisconsin/Froedtert Hospital

________End of Case

Notice in Dr. Siegel's case she had already had problems with her

eyes, so using aspartame with free methyl alcohol which converts to

formaldehyde and formic acid in the retina of the eye, and destroys

the optic nerve, she was an accident about to happen. Naturally the

addition of aspartame could do great harm to her, and putting a

product that blinds on the market is a crime. How well is this known?

Dr. Morgan Raiford, owner of the Atlanta Eye Hospital,

ophthalmologist and specialist in " methanol toxicity " tried his best

years ago to get Congress to ban aspartame because it blinds and

destroys the central nervous system. He examined many aspartame

victims such as Joyce Wilson (Aspartame Victims And Their Friends)

who was diagnosed with MS and went blind from aspartame. He did say

if you could warn the victim in time and vision was still in the " wet

stage " it could return and improve. Here is a letter written to the

National Federation of the Blind in Hawaii that has URL's with Dr.

Raiford's reports that you can read

yourself: http://www.mpwhi.com/nfb_aspartame_and_vision.htm

As people immediately began losing their vision and also having

seizures from aspartame James Turner, DC Attorney and the Community

Nutrition Institute petitioned the FDA in 1986 to ban aspartame. It

was taken all the way to the Supreme Court and I was told there was

politics between industry and the judge, the reason aspartame was not

banned at this time. What a crime to keep a chemical poison on the

market that triggers seizures and can blind the consumer.

Dr. Ralph Walton, Psychiatrist did an independent study on

aspartame. The administrator took part in the study and developed a

retinal detachment. Another subject suffered conjunctival bleeding.

The institution stopped the study. Some of the subjects said they

felt like they were being poisoned. They were. This shows you when

independent studies are done on aspartame the problems are always

shown. When 60 Minutes did an expo on aspartame in 1996 when Dr.

John Olney made world news it was Dr. Walton who did the research

showing that 92% of all independent studies show the problems

aspartame causes. Here is his

report. http://www.dorway.com/peerrev.html Dr. Walton points out

that if you eliminate 6 studies the FDA had something to do with

because of the controversy with them since Hayes over-ruled the Board

of Inquiry, and one pro-industry summary, you're talking about 100%

of independent studies. Since that time independent studies are

still showing the problems. Does that not make you question why only

industry studies defending their poison are said to show safety?

We hope Dr. Siegel will continue to improve. As Dr. H. J. Roberts

has said, victims go from doctor to doctor having needless diagnostic

studies and surgery when nothing is going to help until they get off

the poison. Neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock, M.D., author of

Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills about aspartame and MSG pointed

out in a lecture that the reactions from aspartame are not allergic

but toxic like arsenic and cyanide.

The point, it has been established beyond any shadow of a doubt that

free methyl alcohol blinds, and no one could question that the eye

problems Dr. Siegl has discussed are from aspartame.

Next, she discusses headaches. These are not only notorious with

aspartame but are #1 on the FDA list of 92 symptoms from four types

of seizures to coma and

death. http://www.mpwhi.com/92_aspartame_symptoms.pdf

Remember aspartame changes brain chemistry so you would expect

this. Usually once they are off of it they disappear. However, if

someone has been on this poison for a long time many times they will

go through horrendous withdrawal symptoms.

While I don't know how many American drugs are used in Europe,

another serious problem is that Big Pharma knows about aspartame and

without conscience they even put aspartame in the very drugs used to

treat the problems it causes. So if someone is suffering from

aspartame headaches they may go to their physician and he may

prescribe Maxalt by Merck. Merck was told to remove the aspartame

from Maxalt since it causes the headaches in the first place and sent

information. They refused. So a study was done on Maxalt with

aspartame showing it makes the headaches worse, of course. Still

Merck who refused. They are in the business of making money and

selling more drugs and could care less. The patient remains sick and

keeps on using more and more drugs.

Next Dr. Siegel speaks of ambient noise. Aspartame triggers

tinnitus and H. J. Roberts, M.D. wrote a position paper

titled: " Professional Opinion of H. J. Roberts, M.D., F.A.C.P,

concerning the use of products containing aspartame (NutraSweet) by

persons with ear and equilibrium problems. " He wrote " It is my

opinion that individuals who consume products containing aspartame,

including drugs and supplements, should avoid them when no specific

cause can be found for these symptoms: " Ringing " or " buzzing " of the

ears (tinnitus) ... sometimes described as hissing, humming or

whistling, marked intolerance to noise, impairment or loss of hearing

and marked unsteadiness or dizziness. The same precaution is

reasonable for persons in whom these complaints are due to other

disorders because they could be aggravated by aspartame even in

minimal amounts. " Dr. Roberts says further, " Each of these

components of aspartame - phenylalanine, aspartic acid, the methyl

ester, which promptly because methyl alcohol or methanol - and their

multiple breakdown products after exposure to heat or during

prolonged storage is potentially toxic to the brain and inner

eat. These organs are uniquely vulnerable to metabolic disturbance

and neurotoxins because of their unique metabolic requirements. "

Dr. Siegel is fortunate she found out in time before she had serious

tinnitus which is difficult to cure. She speaks of abdominal

bloating and reflux. Aspartame triggers all kinds of

gastrointestinal problems and again is used in many drugs used to

treat these problems.

Next she describes nausea, fatigue and dizziness. Aspartame destroys

the central nervous system and dizziness is so common its #2 on the

FDA list. It also destroys the immune system and causes chronic

fatigue. Some years ago the University of Florida did a study having

to do with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. The result was that

when MSG and aspartame are eliminated these problems disappear.

Note her discussion of brain fog. Victims suffer confusion and

disorientation. Remember that aspartame changes brain chemistry and

changes the dopamine level. I've always worried about fire fighters

who do not know this. Many times they use dopamine in the field and

never know to ask if the victim is using aspartame. Brain fog is

usually one of the first things to leave when eliminating aspartame.

Dr. Siegel was prescribed Topomate, 25 mg. This drug is used to

control seizures. Aspartame interacts with anti-seizure medication

and discussed in Dr. Roberts medical text. So what happened when she

took it? She reacted with a lot of dizziness, weakness, brain fog

and constant cramping and diarrhea. Notice she says it took over two

days to recover from the Topomate.

Even a neurologist here in Atlanta who knew about aspartame from the

beginning and treats aspartame cases like seizures and MS, was

unaware about the interaction with anti-seizure medication. He told

me of a case where he used every anti-seizure medication on the

market and couldn't stop the patient's seizures. When he realized

she was drinking diet pop with aspartame he told her, she had to get

off of it. She went crazy and he had her admitted to a mental

hospital, but said after two weeks she was realized. No more

seizures and no more mental problems.

Unfortunately now Big Pharma is adding aspartame to anti-seizure

medication. An informant from Pfizer admitted when Dilantin was

reformulated they added aspartame unlabeled. As seizures and deaths

escalated we made public the information. There were so many cases

reporting on the Internet that Pfizer again reformulated

Dilantin. Again, the informant and another employee of Pfizer called

to say that again they added aspartame. This is a sad state of affairs.

In talking to Dr. Siegel about her case she admitted the first thing

to leave when she abstained from aspartame was the brain fog.

Note the victim's comments about responding to a question: " I

stumbled over two words, and then was completely unable to pronounce

or understand the third word. I no longer understood what the words

meant or what I had been trying to say. " This reminds me of the case

of Cliff Evans, a pilot. He said, " Dumb I'm not but I couldn't make

a decision on aspartame and crashed my plane. " Look again at the FDA

list of 92 documented symptoms and you'll see that memory loss is so

prevalent its #9. Cliff Evans flew to Atlanta to meet me and

discussed how to help the pilots. At that time Mission Possible

Aviation was born. Dr. Russell Blaylock, neurosurgeon, wrote the

alert: http://www.mpwhi.com/pilot_aspartame_alert.htm You will also

note from this document that aspartame causes sudden death, and one

pilot on American died in flight drinking a Diet Coke.

So we've come to the end of Dr. Siegel's case. The bad news is that

cases like hers are common and its happening all over the

world. Fortunately for her she hadn't been on aspartame a long

time. She just might have become another statistic.

To market a deadly poison as an additive and keep the facts from

physicians is a heinous crime. It literally ties the physicians

hands because he doesn't correlate the problems with the real

culprit. He has no idea that any drug he prescribes will

interact. As a physician stated in a clinic close to me after

reading the experts books, " Now that I know about aspartame I realize

that 80% of patients that come into this clinic are here because of

aspartame. "

The phenylalanine in aspartame lowers the seizure threshold and

depletes serotonin triggering psychiatric and behavioral problems,

and interacting with all anti-depressants. Psychiatrists seeing

these victims have no idea they maybe bipolar, suicidal or paranoid

because they are using aspartame. I've heard the experts say that

mental hospitals are full of patients who are only aspartame

victims. Dr. Walton testified to EFSA about this in Italy.

It simply can't be said any better than Dr. James Bowen who has Lou

Gehrigs from aspartame, told the FDA. He said aspartame is mass

poisoning of the American people and over 70+ countries of the world.

If aspartame is safe then why has there been controversy since

before it was approved and for 3 decades? Why has there been so many

Congressional hearings because of the outrage of victims being

poisoned? Why do aspartame detox clinics exist? Why is there an

Aspartame Toxicity Center?

Why are there so many medical texts and other books on aspartame

toxicity? Why are there operations all over the world educating the

public to stay away from it and save their life? Why are there

millions of web sites warning the public off of it? Why are there so

many video's and movies like " Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World " with

experts warning that aspartame is poison? See this clip from Sweet

Misery with James Turner, Atty, explaining how it got approved

through the political chicanery of Don

Rumsfeld: http://www.soundandfury.tv/pages/rumsfeld.html

Where there is smoke there is fire. In this case there is a large

conflagration blazing away with the public in outrage because of

being poisoned in many countries of the world.

If you say aspartame is safe then I want these questions answered:

1. How can you ignore almost 100 per cent of independent, scientific

peer reviewed studies showing the problems?

2. How can you disregard the fact that even the FDA toxicologists

that investigated aspartame say it was never proven safe and is

illegally on the market?

3. Why do you accept industry propaganda which has been shown to be

absurd and wrong?

4. How can you ignore the fact that an FDA toxicologist told

Congress aspartame causes cancer and violates the Delaney Amendment

which forbid putting anything in food you know will cause cancer?

5. How can you ignore the fact that aspartame is well known to

damage the cardiac conduction system and cause sudden

death?. http://www.wnho.net/aspartame_and_arrhythmias.htm

http://www.wnho.net/aspartame_msg_scd.htm

6. How can you ignore the FDA report of 92 documented symptoms from

aspartame including seizures, blindness and death?

7. How can you ignore the fact that aspartame damages the

mitochondria and interacts with the patient's drugs? This is

documented in medical texts like those of Doctors H. J. Roberts and

Russell Blaylock.

8. How can you disregard the 49 page report by world renowned John

Olney, M.D. showing aspartame can destroy the brains of our

children? http://www.wnho.net/dr_olney1.doc

9. How can you disregard the fact aspartame causes birth defects and

even eminent physicians like Dr. Louis Elsas, Pediatric Professor,

Genetics, testified before Congress that aspartame triggers birth

defects and mental retardation and is a neurotoxin and

teratogen:

http://www.mpwhi.com/louis_elsas_testifying_to_congress.htm He also

did studies on aspartame.

10. How can you disregard even the testimony of 12 toxicologists

asking for a ban?: http://www.mpwhi.com/aspartame_letter_to_fda.pdf

11. How can you ignore investigations like that of United Press

International who exposed so much corruption on the aspartame issue?

http://www.mpwhi.com/upi_1987_aspartame_report.pdf

12. How can you ignore such peer reviewed journal articles as

Aspartame: Methanol and the Public Health by Dr. Woodrow Monte with

regard to the serious issue of methanol poisoning from

aspartame:

http://dorway.com/dorwblog/doctors-speak-out/aspartame-methanol-the-public-healt\

h/

13. Why would you ignore the fact the formaldehyde converted from

free methyl alcohol embalms living tissue and damages DNA? (Trocho

Study: http://www.mpwhi.com/formaldehyde_from_aspartame.pdf ) Are

you not aware when you damage DNA you can destroy humanity?

14. How can you disregard the connection of aspartame to

MS?: http://www.mpwhi.com/new_report_at_neurology_conference.htm

15. How can you disregard the testimony of imminent scientists like

Dr. Samuel Epstein who said aspartame must be banned because it

causes cancer?

16. How can you disregard 30 years of controversy on the subject?

17. How can you disregard the fact the FDA wanted the manufacturer

indicted for fraud and revoked the petition for approval? How can

you disregard the fact FDA told Congress aspartame has never been

proven safe?

18. How can you disregard that aspartame

addicts? http://www.dorway.com/tldaddic.html

19. How can you disregard the outcry of the victims in favor of

pleasing the aspartame manufacturers who have pressured EFSA in the

past, admitted by Dr. Koeter from EPSA himself?

20. How can you disregard the fact FDA toxicologist Dr. Gross

admitted because aspartame causes cancer the FDA should not have been

able to set an allowable daily intake? Dr. Walton says the ADI

should be zero!

21. How can you consider leaving a toxin on the market that is so

poisonous it causes polychemical sensitivity syndrome? This means if

someone accidently gets it again they can seriously react. In the

movie Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World, Cheryl Kemptner explained this

to a hospital when she was admitted and they gave her a bracelet that

stated no aspartame. However, she was accidently given some Crystal

Light and became a Code Blue, having to be resuscitated.

If you can't at least answer these 21 questions then you need to go

back to the drawing board and actually review the facts again, and

investigate who tried to rebut the independent scientific peer

reviewed studies, what experience they had, etc. The review is an

abomination, not accepted by the real experts and is a slap in the

face to real science.
