I gather that WW is now owned by Heinz they possibly supply Mackers too

I received this info from a friend:

>>I checked the nutritional content of McNuggets and there are 186 calories in a serving of 4 which makes 279 calories in a typical 6 pack about three slices of bread - by McDonalds standards it's surprisingly good. The calories and fat content of the Angus burgers and the Hungry Jack equivalents are horrific and I think they should be illegal. The McNugget fat content is 18%, saturated 10% and fibre 2% which is abysmally low and hardly qualifies as a healthy snack, though I'd better have a look at the WW NZ site and see if the word healthy is actually used. <<

Weight Watchers says eat at McDonald’s to lose weight

Weight Watchers has now officially endorsed Chicken McNuggets as a “healthy meal†in New Zealand, where McDonald’s restaurants will begin carrying the Weight Watchers logo on several menu items. This bizarre and inexplicable decision has now made Weight Watchers the laughing stock of the health world where nutrition and weight loss experts normally don’t use “McDonald’s fast food†and “weight loss†in the same sentence. You can view the entire story at
