Guest guest Posted February 19, 2010 Report Share Posted February 19, 2010 Hartford does not pay its claims either. My son's fiance's mother died and had a 100,000 life insurance claim. She accidently overdosed on her sleeping medication that was prescribed. The coroner said it was a probable accidental death and Hartford refused to pay because she had a " drug " in her body at time of death. Also they don't pay for property damage either. We had severe snow storms last winter and roofs caved in and the people are still waiting to be paid. Our hardware store's roof caved in 3 years ago and he finally got paid. There is a business in Spokane with the roof caved in and a big sign on the fence " Where's Hartford " ?
