Secret meetings have already been held by finance ministers and central bank governors in Russia, China, Japan and Brazil to work on the scheme, which will mean that oil will no longer be priced in dollars. The plans, confirmed to The Independent by both Gulf Arab and Chinese banking sources in Hong Kong, may help to explain the sudden rise in gold prices, but it also augurs an extraordinary transition from dollar markets within nine years.Read article in The Independent (UK) http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/the-demise-of-the-dollar-1798175.html

Guest guest
Dear Tony and all Nothing can be predicted now, but as some countries and their people are expecting that USA's dollar will die, but I have my view that there are countries who will still continue to remain with USA and one of them is JAPAN. As you say that if Japan is also a failed country who else will support USA. Secret move by Arab States and few others is there, since many many years and they dont' want USA's supremacy to continue any more. You are not incorrect, when you say who will be the driver(he may be from the group of failed country), then some one else take the place of a driver. I still have a belief that Dollar will be supported by Japan and few other countries will also join Japan to ensure that dollar survives. Miracle after miracle happen, and no prediction can be made. Only God's will shall prevail. The fate of USA and many more countries is involved. If US Dollar dies, many more currencies like yen of Japan etc. will also be affected Regards Dr JN Sharma On 10/17/09, Tony De Angelis <tntstuart wrote: > When the USA goes to the back of the bus who will be the driver?
