Guest guest
Edith do you mean 5k=8k or 5kg = 8 lb? Jane - Edith Ziegler Undisclosed-Recipient:; Friday, June 12, 2009 6:03 AM Hi everyone, Today I was given a sample of some really great dog foor. It is a lot of beef, whole barley, white rice, fresh apples, fresh carrots, ground flax seeds, herbs mix, garlic, vitamins and minerals. it is dehydrated so it is not nutritionally destroyed. I went on the web site MyDogEatsWell.com and had a look. I checked into the price and just about had a cow and then the whole farm. Oh my gosh, I could never afford to feed my dogs this food. a 2 kilogram bag which is the equivalent of a 5 k bag of regular dog food is $27.99 5k=8k or reg is $54.99, 10k=16k of reg is only $88.99 Hmm I don't know about you guys but I can make my own dog food for a whole lot less than this. I did give my dogs some and they really liked it. I got 3 free little samples and after checking the ingredients I thought they could try it. Even shy Peanut who does not chew on much of anything that is a bit crunchy went to town on this dog food. But the price is prohibitive. Of course then on the other side of the coin, there are people that are feeding dog food for a special diet from the vet and it is probably just as expensive but possibly a whole lot less nutritious. So I am going to stick to feeding my dogs a natural diet. But I thought maybe someone else might enjoy finding out how much cheaper it is to feed a natural diet from home.
