Palin Escalates Bloody War on Wolves

This week, at least 66 wolves have been killed by aerial gunners with high-powered rifles in helicopters near Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve. And, under new policies approved by Governor Sarah Palin’s Board of Game, wolf pups could be gassed to death in their dens in the weeks ahead.

Make an emergency donation now to help stop the slaughter and run this ad. Dear Sharon,

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s cruel aerial slaughter has suddenly escalated.

This week, Palin’s henchmen have killed 66 wolves, using helicopters, spotter planes and aerial gunners. To make matters even worse, Palin’s Board of Game has approved the use of poison gas and deadly snares to kill defenseless wolf pups and their families in and around their dens.

Wolves are being slaughtered in record numbers. Please make an emergency donation to help us stop Palin’s killing frenzy and shine the national spotlight on her brutal massacre.

To stop the killing, we...

Supported emergency legal efforts in state court to halt or delay the helicopter assault on wolves near the Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve, near the area made famous by the 1890s Alaska Gold Rush.

Are working on Capitol Hill with our champion Congressman George Miller of California to win cosponsors for the Protect America’s Wildlife (PAW) Act to end Palin’s barbaric aerial killing and prevent programs like it from spreading to other states; and Are raising public awareness in the media to Palin’s horrible wolf-killing programs in newspapers, on radio and television across the country.

In just a few weeks, Governor Palin is scheduled to appear in Indianapolis. With your emergency help, we can run this ad and ensure that citizens in Indiana and the national media covering her appearance learn the terrible truth of what Palin and her killing thugs have been up to over the last few weeks.

Please make an emergency donation today to help underwrite our state court action and advocacy on Capitol Hill and to expand our Eye on Palin campaign through our new ad.

We need to raise $185, 000 by next Friday to run our ad and expand the Eye on Palin campaign. Please make your donation today.

We can win this fight with your compassionate help. Please send whatever caring contribution you can today. Thank you for all you do.

Sincerely,

....let me tell you right now. We live with the wolves here in the bush and they are not a threat to anything now, but the fox has always been our enemy because of the rabies they bring into town. It's the hunting guides and its ilk that are causing the problems around here, they go where they are not supposed to be and most of the time, they do illegal acts when hunting. The wolves are not the problem!!! The STATE OF ALASKA and their FISH AND GAME people don't know what they are doing, as they listen to Washington D.C. .--- On Fri, 3/20/09, Tony De Angelis <tntstuart wrote:

Ok, let's not freak out until we know the whole story. Where I grew up in

Colorado the ranchers used to trap the coyotes because they would bait and kill

the sheep. Then, they passed a law that forbid the killing of coyotes. So, the

ranchers had to just sit there are watch the coyotes kill their sheep. In this

situation I'm all for killing the coyotes.

All that to say, there has to be a reason for this. Find out the whole truth

before you go on a rampage.

Everythihg posted so far on this is emotionally loaded. If the government of Alaska allows this practice they should be taken to court and must show what the reason is for allowing this to happen. If they cannot give a good reason for allowing it then they should outlaw it. Kililng anything beneficial for pure sport is a form of murder and should be against the law.--- On Sat, 3/21/09, Susan Siegel <ssiegel5 wrote:

Palin Escalates Bloody War on Wolves

This week, at least 66 wolves have been killed by aerial gunners with high-powered rifles in helicopters near Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve. And, under new policies approved by Governor Sarah Palin’s Board of Game, wolf pups could be gassed to death in their dens in the weeks ahead.

Make an emergency donation now to help stop the slaughter and run this ad.Dear Sharon,

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s cruel aerial slaughter has suddenly escalated.

This week, Palin’s henchmen have killed 66 wolves, using helicopters, spotter planes and aerial gunners. To make matters even worse, Palin’s Board of Game has approved the use of poison gasand deadly snares to kill defenseless wolf pups and their families in and around their dens.

Are working on Capitol Hill with our champion Congressman George Miller of California to win cosponsors for the Protect America’s Wildlife (PAW) Act to end Palin’s barbaric aerial killing and prevent programs like it from spreading to other states; and

Are raising public awareness in the media to Palin’s horrible wolf-killing programs in newspapers, on radio and television across the country.

In just a few weeks, Governor Palin is scheduled to appear in Indianapolis. With your emergency help, we can run this ad and ensure that citizens in Indiana and the national media covering her appearance learn the terrible truth of what Palin and her killing thugs have been up to over the last few weeks.

Please make an emergency donation today to help underwrite our state court action and advocacy on Capitol Hill and to expand our Eye on Palincampaign through our new ad.

We need to raise $185, 000 by next Friday to run our ad and expand the Eye on Palin campaign. Please make your donation today.

We can win this fight with your compassionate help. Please send whatever caring contribution you can today. Thank you for all you do.

I've never understood why people get more upset about the killing of animals

than they do the killing of unborn humans ...for convenience of the mother. Why

do people think animal killing is an outrage, but not baby killing?

Excellent point, By my observations it is the ultra-green, ultra animal rights activists that seem the most likely to be pro-abortion. Just my observation. Disney was one of them and perhaps the influence of his films has influenced children to become adults who promote animal rights as being equal to human rights. --- On Mon, 3/23/09, bluegreensolutions <bluegreensolutions wrote:
