Guest guest
Dear Debbie, Thanks for the vote of confidence. And mostly, thanks for your well wishes for the Season. )))) I very much appreciate the way you wished me my holiday season. "Merry Christmas" is appropriate for any Christian of course. Here on Herbal Remedies, we've always tolerated all Religious Beliefs whether it be Christian, Pagan, Scientologist, Jewish, Buddhist, Islam, Hinduism, Bahai, or Zoroastrian. There are many more religions and various sects around the World of course, and there are too many to list them all out here in this post, so please forgive me if I've neglected to mention a particular one. It is important here in the Northern Hemisphere that the Winter Solstice is now passed and we are at the beginning of a New Year. We await Spring, and perhaps with the tolerance you've shown in your well wishes to me, mankind will learn from it, and awaken to the understanding that we are all interconnected. Regardless of Race, Color or Creed, we are all brothers. With Spring, I hope and postulate that mankind will be reborn into an age of tolerance and love. Seasons greeting to you all. In Knowledge, Health, Freedom, and Love, Doc Debbie McClure wrote: It does my heart good to hear you so well-informed about freedom. But then, one could hardly be as well informed about healthy living & nutrition as you are & not be tuned in to the freedom & political scene around modern American medicine & politics! I have found these areas of being informed go hand in hand. We communicate most frequently with our government via Downsize DC’s very convenient set-up at www.downsizedc.org. They have it set so it automatically e-mails your own three reps. Are you familiar with them/Jim Babka? They have an informative newsletter about what’s happening in Congress twice a week as well. They initiated the ‘Read the Bills’ attention. I very much agree with your indication we shouldn’t hate President Obama, but we can work hard against the bad decisions he’s making and promoting. And that doesn’t surprise me coming from you, either. Thank you. : ) Oh, and our family uses that Yoda quote fairly regularly! Have a blessed Christmas, or whatever you & yours celebrate! Guest guest
Amen Brother! I am with you. I have written and called elected officials. We must all do our part! What makes anyone believe it is someone else’s responsibility to take care of them. It is our responsibility to take care of our selves. I will not give someone else that kind of “power”. I know, because I was a single Mother without insurance. I got sick, had a lot of bills. I had to move from my apt. sell a lot of my beloinging and stay at friends houses and live out of my car until I got the medical bills paid. Never, once did I think about filing bankrupty. I made the bills, I would pay them and I did. I was and am responsible for me and mine. Letting gov’t take care of you also puts you in a position of being under their power and they will tell you when to come and go, if you know what I mean. My Grandfather and Father fought in wars to help this country maintain it’s freedom. For freedom I will stand and for freedom I will die. God bless our troops! Guest guest
Hi Jana, Well said!! I heard a caller on the Sean Hannity show the other day say if this bill is so good, why do they have to BRIBE people to vote for it. Thought that was a excellent point. Guest guest
Doc, I so agree with you! I belong to a local Tea Party organization and I have made many phone calls and sent many emails. My fax machine is down or I'd have sent those. We must be diligent and proactive or we will lose our freedoms. Guest guest
Dear Jana, You are soooooooo right, and I full appreciate your tough stance on all this. I wish more people had your attitude and tenacity. Many people blame our troops as being the problem, but nothing could be further from the truth. "Blaming our troops" is a wrong target. It is the politicians in Washington who have the ability to command our troops, and the International Bankers and the Psychs behind them that are the REAL problem. Our troops are often times victimized as much as the general population. Lately, Obama has even dared to call our returning troops, "potential terrorists". What gall! What nerve!!! I'd venture to point out that Obama, who is just a front henchman for the Bilderbergers / New World Order are the true terrorists. Their goal is the depopulation of this beautiful planet we live on. This is their stupid motivation which is truly insane. They feel that the only way they can be "safe" is if the rest of us are dead. The Earth is NOT over populated. It is simply, badly managed. Our planet could support 100 times the current population if it were run right. "Over Population" is a bigger myth than "Global Warming". Guest guest
Dear Lori, Very well done on joining your local Tea Party movement on this. That IS the thing to do ! ! ! Get involved locally in groups that are acting globally. As a matter of fact, while we're cleaning out our own house so to speak, we may as well continue and contribute to the motion here and take it all the way for "Peace on Earth". I love your "Religious / Christian" perspective on all this, and to take it a step further, feel we need to promote all ethical perspectives. Richard Bach once wrote, "I'll quote the truth wherever I find it" and I agree with the sentiment. It is time we Human Beings grew up, and became tolerant of other religious beliefs, ethnic backgrounds, and acknowledged the Human Rights inherent in all of us. We can no longer afford to hate. Hate and Intolerance are the pathway to disaster. In Knowledge, Health, Freedom, & Love, Doc PS. Please don't misconstrue this as Pacifism. I'm not a pacifist. I believe that the Price of Freedom requires constant alertness and a willingness to fight back and actually DO something about it when it is needed. Guest guest
Regarding pacifism: I sometimes refer to myself as a "militant pacifist". I prefer living a peaceful life and will avoid conflict, but when I'm cornered into a fight, I don't fight fair, and am a strong advocate of retaliation with overwhelming force.
