Guest guest
Hi Robert, Thank you for your generous information! I will follow up and let you know what happens. One trouble I have is that these patienst REPORT dizziness in the past, but it isnt showing up because they are medicating it. Do I treat what shows up only (tongue & pulse symptoms) , and will that maybe give them some possibility of going OFF the meds (which both say they would like).I am still finding my way working in symptomatic treatments! Gratefully, Lou In your school library, find the book " The Clinical Experience of Dr. Shi Neng-Yun " . On pages 70 to 73, read the section titled " Prevention of Allergic Rhinitis through Wind Pool and Receive Fragrance " and then teach the self-massage techniques to your patient. I have taught the techniques to my patients since 1997, and found that those who followed the daily regimen had marked improvement. Per, Auricular Treatment: Formulae and Prescriptions by Dr. Li-Chun Huang ( www.earmedicine.us), I have used the following auricular prescription: Allergic Rhinitis ----------------- Internal Nose External Nose Adrenal Gland Endocrine Allergic Area Spleen Lung Sympathetic Ear Apex (Bleeding) So, IMHO, use your 5 element theory to treat the root and self-massage and the above auricular points using ear seeds (and Ear Apex - bleeding) to treat their major complaint (dizziness due to seasonal allergies).
