Guest guest
Hi All, I'm just reading over some of the last few forum meesages and was wondering what is the average number of patients people here see. I currently see 35 to 40 patients a week, and charge between 50 and 60 euro per session, I suppose about 75-80 dollars. I have a nice clinic with one consultation room and a treatment room attached. Most of my acupuncture friends average 40 - 60 patients per week with 2 - 3 treatment rooms. I was just interested in finding out what the norm is, and if its lower, why. I would also like to hear what different ways people attract clients. Regards, Gordon.
Guest guest
Hi Gordon, I am seeing about 30 patients a week and I charge app. 60 euro/80 dollars per session (to my knowledge I am the most expensive acupuncturist around ) and have a wait list of app 2-3 weeks. I am not seeing patients on wednesdays and on weekends - I keep wednesdays free for administrative work, studying and writing. Acupuncturists in this area are averageing 35-50 Euro/45-65 dollars pr. treatment with somewhere between 2 and EIGHT treatment rooms pr. one practitioner. I have a single consultation/treatment room and a small waiting room. I prefer the one treatment room, one-hour-per-client approach since I work actively with my patients doing a dynamic mixture of classical acupuncture, TuiNa massage and awareness excersizes (verbalisations, visualitions and more). It is only on rare occassions that i leave the needles in. I will ALWAYS assign homework to patients and spend a bit of time, especially on the initial session, to teach how it's done properly.
