Here is an opportunity for the Committee on

Health to hear the health effects of aspartame

and Splenda. When I mentioned about deceptive

advertising I was told it's mostly on health

effects. There is very little time. The meeting

is in Sacramento and if you want to help you need

to stop and write your case and send it for it to

get there by the early part of the

week. Otherwise, it won't get in the record. Here is where you send it:

Physicians should also write. If you live in

California and want to testify you can be

present. You need to call Allegra Kim for

time. Here is an opportunity for a Committee on

Health to hear what these two poisons are doing

to the public. Every letter counts. If you are

from other countries it doesn't make any

difference. Let them know because of FDA

approval which was rubberstamped around the world

like in the case of aspartame, the world is

poisoned. I know in the case of England and New

Zealand no studies were done there, they accepted

the FDA approval. Yet, the FDA actually revoked

the petition for

approval: http://www.mpwhi.com/fda_petition1.doc

and tried to have the manufacturer indicted for

fraud. Hear the story in the aspartame

documentary: Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World,

www.soundandfury.tv In the end it was through

the political chicanery of Don Rumsfeld that got

this addictive excitoneurotoxic carcinogenic drug

on the market which is masquerading as an

additive. It interacts with virtually all drugs

and toxins because of damage to the mitochondrdia or life of the cell.

The medical text on aspartame is over 1000 pages,

Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic,

www.sunsentpress.com by H. J. Roberts,

M.D., Russell Blaylock, M.D., wrote

Excitotoxins: The Taste that Kills on aspartame

and MSG, www.russellblaylockmd.com

It is of interest that Dr. James Bowen says if

you go from aspartame to Splenda you will

maintain the reactions of aspartame and pick up

those from Splenda. Aspartame is a chemical

hypersensitization agent. We hope all aspartame

victims who read this will help to get the facts to the committee.

Chair of the California Assembly Committee on

Health, Mervyn M. Dymally (D-Compton), has

announced he will hold legislative hearings on

the use of deceptive advertising to promote artificial sweeteners

like Splenda. The hearings will take place after

the current legislative session. Below you will

find the statement from Assembly member Dymally

announcing the hearing and a statement from the

Sugar Association applauding his decision.

The Health Committee is interested in hearing

from consumers who have had negative experiences

with food additives like Splenda and from food

safety or consumer watchdog groups.

For more than three years, the Truth About

Splenda Campaign has worked to correct consumer

confusion due to what we believe is Splenda's

misleading marketing. We urge any consumers or

organizations that would like to be considered

for the witness list to contact Francis Taylor

with the California Assembly Committee on

Health. Please forward this important email to

your family and friends/ Thank

you, (Martini: Get in touch with Allegra Kim at the above number.)
