Pennsylvania! "Every Child Should be Screened for Mental Illness" Senate ResolutionFri, 16 Mar 2007 09:19:44 -0400

The Minnesota Education Finance Committee approved the TeenScreen funding bill yesterday. The Chairman of the committee and author of the bill, Rep. Mindy Greiling, would not allow any amendments although one was prepared by a committee member who indicated she would vote NO on TeenScreen. Greiling is on NAMI's National Board of Directors! Whererever TeenScreen is pushed, NAMI is there to promoting it! More on NAMI here: www.psychsearch.net/nami.html But never fear - it must go through other committees. Stay tuned.

Now, we need to help out in Pennsylvania. Please write to the below Chair of the Aging and Youth Committee and bcc the committee members. AND get this to everyone you know!
