Hi there,

The Budwig Protocol has over 90 % cure rate. It actually incorporates several of

the listed protocols in the following ways:

1.Flax oil is an omega 3 oil. By combining flax oil with low fat cottage cheese

in a 1 to 2 ratio, (1 tablespoon of flax oil for every 2 tablespoons of cottage

cheese) and blending them together with a stick blender to emulsify them, the

flax ol is made water soluble, thereby enhancing its ability to penetrate the

cell membranes and make them permeable again.

2. Organic fruits and vegetables are also  part of the diet. Nuts (walnuts,

pecans, brazil nuts) and fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, or even

bananas can be added to the fax oil mixture to enhance the taste and also

because berries have natural anti-oxidants and as such are cancer fighting.

3. Vegetation, such as spinach, salads, etc.

4. Fresh air and mild exercise such as walking if one is able to do so

5. Sunshine

Just as important is what is not in the diet:

1. No meat of any kind2. No refined sugars of any kind3. No artificial

sweeteners of any kind4. No white refined flour

The diet should be maintained strictly for at least 5 years. There might be

other things that I have missed about the diet, so if anyone else has more to

add, please feel free.

By the way, I do not have cancer. I have diabetes. The Budwig Protocol also

helps with diabetes. The problem with both illnesses is the cell membranes.

The foods that use bad fats, such as hydrogenated oils cause the cell

membranes to become defective. Insulin cannot do its job in delivering nutrition

to the cells. In the case of cancer, the cells lose their ability to breathe.

I have a friend who's father was diagnosed with cancer and about to

undergo Chemo. She, of course, is scared for her father. I tried to tell her

that there are other options that aren't normally accepted in conventional

medicine. But, to tell you honestly, I don't know enough to be able to give her

anything concrete to look for.

As soon as she told me, I did searches for alternative cancer treatments, and

found one that had quite a few options. http://www.alternat ive-cancer.

net/78_alternati ves.htm She is wondering, since her older brother and sister

are taking care of the decision making, if there is a center that she can call

to either help her father, or to solidify the options on the site that I was

able to give her. If she can go to her brother and sister with something

concrete, they may listen to her. Any ideas?
