Guest guest
My face feels so moisturized, and silky...it's almost like it's " plumped " ..tee-hee. If anybody out there has ever used Avon's Total Effects Face Lotion, (I did religiously) this formula has a very similar body & feel to it. I always wanted to make a face lotion that would glide on like that, with that " gel like " lubricity and have the same feel on my skin (so I could make it myself and add all the goodies I like). The consistency is like heavy whipped butter, and pure white (Kokum Butter is very pale naturally). Here's the simple formula we created: Phase A Water (66%) Sodium Lactate (5%) Phase B Emulsifying Conditioner (8%) Jojoba " Oil " (3%) Kokum Butter (12%) Alkyl Esters (1%) Cyclomethicone (1%) Allantoin (1%) Phase C Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein (1%) Liquipar PE (1%) Fragrance or EO of Choice (1%) Instructions Heat A & B until they reach 170F. Combine A & B with mixing until fully emulsified and melted (additional heating may be required). Continue mixing occasionally to ensure emulsion and even cooling. When cooled to 105-110F, add C. That's IT! Tiffany Tarpein-Vaughn www.todieforsoap.com The Finest Ingredients on Earth at Prices To Die For!
