Guest guest
Attilio, I think this is fitting since we're celebrating the lunar new year this month and tonight the moon is still full over San Francisco's New Year's Parade. In Hawaii too, all of life was based around the moon cycles... especially for fishing and farming. Because of the gravitational pull on the ocean tides and in the soil, there were benefits in honor of gods in planting and harvesting and fishing on certain moons, as well as kapu(s) (taboos) on certain cycle days. http://www.instanthawaii.com/cgi-bin/hawaii?Weather.moon There is a passage in the NeiJing Suwen about performing acupuncture on certain cycles of the moon. Can we discuss this further? Thanks, k.
