Anyone dealing with Crohns or ulcerated colitis should read the book Breaking

the Vicious Cycle ,by Elaine Gloria Gottschall. Also go to Lucy's Kitchen on

your computor.

have a support group for Crohns.

My friend was just diagnosed with Crone's disease.

She's about the nicest person I've ever met in my

life. I read something a while back that I wish I

had saved about a cure but I don't remember what it

said and I've been looking for it ever since because

it sounded really good. If anyone could shed some

light on this for her I would be extremely grateful,

I have Crohn's, and there is no cure.  There are a lot of different diets that

are extremely helpful, but they are also incredibly restrictive and can be hard

to stick to.  No sugar, no wheat, no gluten, no dairy, no additives, no alcohol,

no caffine, no meat, certain fruits and veggies are restricted, no juice, water

only, you get the idea.  I can't think of the name of the book, but I'd bet you

could find it pretty easy if you googled " Crohn's diet " or something like that.

Yoga and thai chi are always a good bet, although it can be difficult to stick

with if you are feeling like crap.

Dear Dave,

I am attaching a link to a truly inspirational educator and experienced

chiropractor: Saul Pressman <saul. Dr P. has guided my wife

concerning protocols for her own 'incurable' challenge; it is worthy of note

that my wife now says that she feels as great as she did twenty years ago.

I wish you success in all your endeavours,

Be well,

Rupert

Hi Dave,

This Site is worth a look:

http://www.greattastenopain.com/great.asp

It includes some free downloads regarding diet, plus a book that you can

purchase. Plus lots of info that you doctor's won't tell you about how the body

functions and why we get certain health disorders.
