Christy,

You said you reduce your sodium a bit.  I am also hypertensive and i reduce my

sodium a lot for my bp not to rise.  Also use sea salt instead of table salt.

Drink lots of water.  Stay away from commercial snack foods they contains lots

of salt.  As to your kidney, read up on COQ10 and kidney failure.  Google and

you'd be amazed.  Discuss with your MD if this is suitable for you.

I have personaly found that cranberry juice helps with kidneys.  Drink Lemon

water fresh best or the bottled kind just a cap full daily and orange juice

helps.

Kidney bladder blend from the natural health food store works wonders if your

into herbs.

Keeps me out of the DR.s office.

Foods That Can Be Eaten-that help

Potassium-banana's are high in it, kiwi

High Blood Pressure-celery and olive oil-both been know to lower blood pressure

Water Retention-parsley and wonderful for kidneys

Heart-tomato, grapes

Kidneys-kidney beans

Good Luck
