Guest guest
while this is not short term relief, I use bone broth to help with my own problems with arthritis. You make bone broth this way: Take bones from chicken, beef, or just about any type of meat that you think tastes good and do the following: 1. Put it in a crock pot and cover the bones with water. 2. Then, add one tablespoon of raw organic apple cider vinegar. Let the bones simmer for about 24 hours. then, strain the broth and bury the bones after wrapping them in newspaper. (Bury the bones and they will enrich the earth instead of polluting it) Put the bone broth in a glass container and drink some every day as a hot beverage, with some garlic or onion added. The apple cider vinegar is an acid that helps to extract valuable minerals from the bones that help with joint pain. On top of that, bone broth is pretty cheap to make. See, back in the olden days, people used to make broth from the bones and they would use the broth as a basis for soup or stock, instead of going with canned soups. And people got nutrition from those bone broths. I hope this makes sense, Linda Bastida --- On Sat, 1/24/09, Gracie Becker <grabec wrote: > Gracie Becker <grabec > << >> knees > > Saturday, January 24, 2009, 6:02 PM > My knees have started bothering me. Guest guest
Try acupuncture. Best thing for knees. Chinese Medical QiGong Therapy isn't too bad either, if you can find someone who can really do it. Do you have low back pain as well? Find a good acupuncturist who also does herbs. > Thanks all for your words of wisdom. > Now, after 2 doctors and a chiropractor I am beginning to think that it might be a cartlidge problem as my knees " catch " , feel rather weak and sometimes feel rather disjointed. I am having trouble getting up after sitting a while etc. > So, knowing this, would you guys still recommend MSN, boiling bones for the juice etc. > A steroid shot has been recommended to me and possible orthoscopic surgery where they would go in and clean the cartlidge or something. So, any thoughts or experience on this would be so appreciated. > Thanks
