Guest guest
> HELLO ALL, > I HOPE YOUR WEATHER IS AS NICE AS OURS IS HERE IN ARKANSAS. Thank you Shon! It is VERY nice here right now > I HAVE A QUESTION FOR EVERYONE, THE MORE ANSWERS THE > BETTER. I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHICH HERBS ARE BEST OR WHICH ONES DO YOU > RECCOMEND FOR THE FOLLOWING: > POOR CIRCULATION Depends .. when looking to use an essential oil, like say in a lotion or foot bath, I'd pick rosemary. But if I were looking for an herb to use internally to help circulation I'd pick gingko biloba. > ACNE If I were making a soap I'd use Tea Tree in it, but if I were looking for an internal solution I'd do a complete detox and colon hydrotherapy. Also, check out Traditional theories http://www.drshen.com/herbsforacne.htm > DAMAGED, SUNBURNED SKIN My After Sun Cream recipe - full of good stuff for sun exposed skin http://home.earthlink.net/~chrisziggy/summernewsletterp1.pdf > WRINKLED SKIN I hear Preparation H is what Mae West used *lol* But if you don't want to use that - Neroli oil blended with carrot seed oil and rose hip seed oil is said to be very good for mature skin types. > SORES Do you mean sores like bedsores? In that case a bath in horsetail tea is helpful. Honey and calendula salve also makes a good poultice. > BUG BITES OH I HATE THOSE! *lol* First things that come to my mind are mud (like sea mud or moist clay like one would use for a facial) and fresh plantain poultice (not the banana plantain - the garden weed plantain) > RING WORMS That is a fungal infection, and Tea Tree oil is a great anti-fungal > THANKS A BUNCH EVERYONE! Guest guest
Hi Shon: I'm new here. My name is Peggy and I own Lowell McNaughton Soaps. I was invited by a wonderful person Buffy. I have poor circulation in my hands and feet, making for very cold feet especially in the winter. The herb that helps me the most is a little cayenne pepper shaken into my socks. It warms my feet up immediately. You get orange toes though! :-0 Peggy www.splendidsoap.com ----- HELLO ALL, I HOPE YOUR WEATHER IS AS NICE AS OURS IS HERE IN ARKANSAS.
