Guest guest
OK, so I think I updated you all that my soap is now soap -- yay! The bad news? When I do my cold process soap, I line my wooden molds with plastic and then pour in the soap. Well, to do the in-the-oven thing, I took the mushy soap and put it into unlined wooden molds. Guess what? My soap is stuck in the molds! Any tricks on getting it out? Thanks! Guest guest
Debbie, Get a plastic spackling blade and slide it between the mold and soap. Does the soap mold come apart? Guest guest
No, and I do have collapsable molds that I didn't have the foresight to use! It is not the sides that are stuck, it is the bottom. Boy oh boy, I do know how to complicate things! Guest guest
Debra, Best bet is the freezer. May take a week or so. It will eventually shrink enough as it cures the water out to come out. That may take awhile. Only other option is to go in about three inches from the end, scoop out 3 inches of soap, take a pancake flipper and slide and lift to get it out.
