Guest guest
Hi Anya....what is the reason for this....? Thanks, Peggy www.splendidsoap.com Of course, you have to make sure any sinus or colds or allergies you think you have aren't 'fungal' in nature when you do this. http://member.newsguy.com/~herblady Step By Step Instructions On Making Rose Petal Preserves: http://www.av-at.com/stuff/rosejam.html To adjust your group settings (i.e. go no mail) see the following link: /join

Well, if you have a fungal/mold/mildew scenario, chances are it is also in the air in your house, maybe even caused by molds and mildews growing in your walls, etc., so you don't want to add to the humidity of the house at this time. Many folks get a bad sinus headache, or a general malaise, and think they have an 'infection', well, they may, but perhaps it isn't bacterial, it's fungal. A few years ago, here in Miami, we had a cool down at the end of summer. Three weeks of overcast skies, rain, just moderate humidity. So, I turned off the air conditioner. I went to the doctor because I started to have some weird things going on -- my lower lip would swell up hard. I got a swelling under one eye. My sinuses swelled. Got a headache. First thing he asked was " is your a/c on " ? I said no, the weather cooled down. He said the humidity was constant, and the a/c was the only want to keep down mold/mildew proliferation. I said I didn't see any mold/mildew signs in my house, like in the shower. He said, well, they're having a feast day in your body, so why do they need tile? Ewwwww. Soooooo, if you suspect you have a mold/mildew problem, instead of a bacterial or 'phlegm block' problem, I would recommend doing the inhalation of antifungal herbs and oils in a steam tent (putting the steaming herbs or oil in hot water, bending over the bowl with a towel over your head, inhaling deeply for as long as the water remains hot.) Also, inhale anti-fungal oils as often as possible, right from the bottle. In the meantime, work on getting rid of the ambient and growing molds and mildew by diffusing oils and making sure the source of the water that is causing the growth is eliminated, and perhaps, if necessary, remove the carpet and other places they're living. http://member.newsguy.com/~herblady
Guest guest
Thanks Anya...very helpful to me. I am going to share this with a friend who suspects that she is inhaling mold and fungus. She has CFS/fibro/MCS and always gets worse in the winter so she suspects what you described.
