This is just more of the irrelevant rubbish that has frustrated us for years. For example, they say researchers killed a dog with 500mg of silver. At first glance that sounds scary but look at the details. Firstly they don't say what kind of silver it was. I'll bet it wasn't electrolytically dissolved ionic silver like we make. It was probably chemically or mechanically powdered silver. But lets assume it was electrolytic silver. 500mg is equal to about 50 litres of 10 ppm CS. CS isnt retained very well so you have to consume it all in one day for it to be toxic. Who would drink anywhere near 50 litres in a day? And and if the dog was 20kg, a human of say 80 kg would have drink 200 litres to reach the same toxicity level per kg. And they injected the silver directly into the dogs bloodstream! Most of the silver we drink goes straight out in the urine so (I'm guessing) we'd probably have to drink at least 5 times as much to actually get 500mg into the blood. So now we are talking about drinking 1000 litres in a day to reach the toxicity level that killed that dog. Most people would drink less than one tenth of a litre in a day. That 10,000 times less than my estimated toxic dosage.References to scam colloidal silver advertising are also meaningless. There are scam artists in all fields. And just because something doesnt work every time doesnt make it worthless for everyone. Doctors hand out entirely useless prescriptions every day for drugs that have no effect on the illness (and get paid handsomely for it) but we don't call them scam artists. Sometimes the drugs work, sometimes they don't.The only concern I have about CS is argyria, and as far as I can find out theres not a single case of someone developing argyria from taking good quality clear or pale yellow CS made electrolytically with pure water.
