Guest guest
hi actually they are nice little kits, they come with powder packets and a nasal rinse bottle, and come with instructions, you can go to www.neilmed.com they usually run specials and you can get this very cheap, i usually buy the pack that brings 100 packets, try it, rigt now i cannot try it because my ears ache and when i use it I get ear pressure, but other than that its pretty good and easy to use and comes with full instructions. they also sell a small kit to try out that comes with the bottle with 5 packets check out the site
Guest guest
Odd question, but what color is your nasal mucus? If it is not green or dark yellow they you do not have an infection, and WHY are they going to do surgery because of an infection???? What do they say is wrong with your nose?? Some doctors love to do surgery (more money in their pockets), get a 3rd opinion if nessesary. Guest guest
Nick- I would avoid the surgery and start using Doc's herbal snuff formula. Herbal Snuff Formula (A part is a measurement by volume = cups, Tbls, etc.)7 parts Goldenseal Root Powder7 parts Bayberry Bark Powder1 part Cayenne Pepper Powder1 part Garlic Powder All the above must be ground up very finely. Best to use Habanero Cayenne as it is the hottest. Mix it very well as a clump of Cayenne could keep your eyes in tears for an hour ;o) Won't hurt you though. A quick story about this. My cousin was going to Vegas for a week or so. When he got off the plane he felt a horrible sinus infection coming on. He called me and asked what he could do. I gave him the above recipe and told him to go to the health food store and get the ingredients. He found everything but the bayberry bark powder. He had to buy the rest in capsule form, but the dosage is very small, so it won't take you a lot of time to remove the herbs from the capsules and mix.... I told him to start with a just a little bit and sniff into both nostrils. He was determined to rid himself of the infection so he did a bigger dosage. His nostrils were burning for a few minutes, but the sinus infection was totally wiped out..... So if I were you, I would make this formula and start using it 4-8 times a day. Start with a small dosage, like the size of a pin head and work you way up. Then when you get your sinus infection under control considering following Doc's 2 week intestinal cleanse program. This is in the files. The sinuses and intestinal tract are directly related. Hope this helps, Rob herbal remedies [herbal remedies ]On Behalf Of nickyTuesday, December 13, 2005 4:31 PMherbal remedies Subject: Herbal Remedies - Group..i need help!Hi Group..i need help...i've been having a problem with my nose..The first ENT doctor told me to get a ct-xray....so i did..when he read the xray,he told me ..nothing wrong with my sinuses(perfectly clear he says...but never mention sinus surgery..but i wanted another opinion from another doctor..he read the same xray, and told me i have an sinus infection..and i need surgery..the doctor wants me to have surgery this coming weds..Question..which doctor do i belive or should i go for surgery..thanks..hope you can help me...Nick... Guest guest
Hi Nick! I had a sinus infection that NO antibiotics would clear up. My first visit to the ENT I was asked why I was there and I aid sinus infection. He said he did not believe in antibiotics and gave me a NeilMed kit. Within 3 days of the 2 to 5 times a day lavage I noticed the green gunk was gone. I now make my own solution with sea salt or canning salt. Sounds like your Doc wants to drive a Lexus. I would recommend you put of surgery until trying the sinus flush for a few days. Once the bones are broken for entry there is no way to go back. The herbal routine will take care of the problem. Or it did for me. LoveBobAdageyudiStaya Udanvti - nicky herbal remedies Tuesday, December 13, 2005 2:30 PM Herbal Remedies - Group..i need help! Guest guest
I would get a third opinion. Is it real or is it memorex? Often it is a Porsche note for the Doc. There are some well intended doctors as well. This very thing happened to my hubby over knee surgery - He supposedly NEEDED it the next week. THAT was 4 years ago. He took a different approach - and still no knee surgery to date. Guest guest
Hi Brenda! The NeilMed kit is from the drugstore. It is an 8oz bottle with a head that will fit the nostril so you have control. The kit comes with a few packets of solution mix. I do not know how much they cost as mine was part of an ENT visit. I use the NeilMed bottle and make my own solution. One quart of distilled water, one half teaspoon of sea salt or pure canning salt (DO NOT USE IODIZED TABLE SALT it will burn terribly). Boil the mixture to kill any bacteria, cool to about 80°, gently spray into nostril until it comes out the other nostril and/or mouth. Do this several times a day or every time you feel your nose plugging up or start dripping. You can use a baby syringe, Neti pot or any other device you can think of. I lean forward enough over the sink so that it does not run down my chest and I use a full 8oz on both nostrils. It took me a few tries to become comfortable doing it, BUT it does work and will wash out the infection and any build up of mucus.
