Darla,

My 7 year old son just had a hydrocele repaired in March. We went to a pediatric urologist in Annapolis, Dr. McDermott. He was great.

A hydrocele has to be repaired surgically. It's like a hernia repair. But there is a duct that runs down into the scrotum that the testicle descended through; and for what ever reason, injury or what ever, that duct will sort of open and allow fluid to leak down into the scrotum.. In an adult that duct can twist and cause a strangulation. So it really needs to be repaired.

My son's was repaired on a Thursday, took 45 min. He was off school Friday, layed around Saturday, did regular stuff Sunday and was back in school on Monday.

For an adult, however, I think it will be about 3 weeks. My brother (42) had a hernia repaired last November and the doc wrote him off work for 3 weeks. He thought that he'd go back on the second week, but he said in retrospect, he really needed that third week.

I hope that helps you a little. I think if there is no strangulation, then the repairs should be fairly simple.

Darla,

You are welcome. Really, it will be ok. Just be sure to get a good surgeon. I think for men it can be painful for all that fluid to be there. My sons fluid would ebb and flow, meaning that when he was up during the day the scrotum would be very full and be painful if he leaned against it. But at night when he'd lay down, the fluid would flow back out.

You know Darla,

I really don't have any idea how much the surgury cost as we have insurance. I'd guess a few thousand.

I looked on the internet for a urologist because the one down here in the rural area where we live only treat really old med and I didn't really trust them with my little boy. You may look on the internet as well for a urologist in your area, then ask around a bit if you don't like the referral you get from your husbands doctor.

I have been following this thread, and do not understand the recommendation of surgery. I am not familiar with the condition myself, but I am absolutely 100% certain that Doc would recommend a natural approach, not surgery. I would start off by checking out the Total Body Cleanse in the files, and possibly even the Incurables Program (also in the files). Bodies are made to repair themselves of any condition. The fact that your husband's body is not doing so indicates that his organs are not functioning properly. This is handled with either of these programs, as well as life style changes to improve healthy living, such as a nutritional organic diet, sun, exercise, positive ( a non-toxic) environment / people in your environment. That is what you should be working on. Surgery just handles the symptom, not the CAUSE!!!!

Darla,

I don't think there should be any trouble urinating. The fluid is his own body fluid that comes down the tube (can't remember the name) from which the testicle descended when he was a baby.

Sorry, I'm not an expert, I've only had the experience with my son earlier this year. So what's going on with your husband could be totally different. I'm just relating the way it was for us.

Lisa,

A hydrocele is a condition that is present from birth or after an injury. Not repairing it is like letting an appendix rupture, or not setting a broken bone. An injury has occured to the tube (can't remember the name, sorry) and body fluid is leaking down, unchecked into the scrotum. It can cause pain and if the cord twists, can cause a strangulation and perhaps sterility. It's like a hernia repair surgury. You can't leave a hernia unrepaired - it's very painful.

Debra,

Please re-read my message - I certainly did NOT say to not repair the condition! I said to repair it the natural way rather than through surgery.

This is handled with either of these programs, as well as life style changes to improve healthy living, such as a nutritional organic diet, sun, exercise, positive ( a non-toxic) environment / people in your environment. That is what you should be working on. Surgery just handles the symptom, not the CAUSE!!!!

Debra,

I tend to agree with Lisa on this one..........I would not recommend surgery but look towards a more natural way of healing. The body CAN repair itself when given what it needs to correct the condition..........since I am also an energy worker that would definitely be an avenue I would go down. ANY condition that develops IS CAUSED by something else................ I believe it is only when you "back up" and find the ORIGINAL cause that you will experience healing. Of course, you can "repair" a condition with surgery, but if you haven't worked on the CAUSE then it will manifest again, the same or in another way. I have found that many times the cause is not always physical but could be on an emotional, mental or spiritual level also. I know if you are not familiar with this sort of work that it could sound crazy.........but I have been doing energy work as a Reiki practitioner for over 5 years now and you would be amazed at how emotional/mental issues can manifest as physical problems if not worked out and once it is worked out I have seen these problems spontaneously correct themselves on their own.

Many blessings,

Marlene

I met someone that reversed a hernia it can be repaired naturally. But the natural way is work and takes total dedication and belief otherwise it will not work and this way is not for everyone. I have been told by many that MS you cant get rid of and I sure did.

You know Marlene

I'm a Reiki practioner, a Rolfer and I've been using herbs for about 13 years, have been interested in the human body and natural healing my whole life.

But I have to say, again, strenuously, that a hydrocele in a man comes from an injury. It has to be surgically repaired. An injury comes from a trauma of some type, it's not just something that has happened because of poor tissue condition.

If you were in a car crash and your head was swelling, should it just be left alone to heal itself, or perhaps a total body cleans to clean up the body's toxins? - no you would not do that, would you? Measures be taken to repair it. It's an injury, just like a broken arm.

Debra,

Great, since you are a Reiki practitioner also, then you know from working with the energy field that an injury can NOT exist in the human body if the energy field is strong , clear of intrusions and balanced. It is NOT possible.

Yes, accidents do occur, but if one's energy field is clear and flowing as it should be in a healthy person then there is no where for the injury to manifest.............. it is only when one's energy field is out of balance (a weak spot) that a physical manifestation will occur.

Nutrition and Energy all works together to create healthy humans.

But you also have to have the mindset to EXPECT your healing, any doubt confuses the process.

My husband also HAD a similar situation as your husband and YES it reversed itself WITHOUT surgery using tonifying herbs and Energy work and positive thinking. :-)

Blessings,Marlene

Here is a testimony from www.sakthifoundation.org , I found this on www.curezone.com and there is more testimonies on people healing themselves of this.

HYDROCELE HEALED MIRACULOUSLY

I had a problem of Hydrocele (?), swelling in the scrotum. The cause is unknown and within one day liquid (serum) accumulated in my left scrotum. This condition did not change for 4 weeks. Since it gave a feeling of pressure I let it withdraw by puncturing in the hospital. However after 2 days it was even more filled with serous liquid. I was told that the only real cure would be surgery. I did not want a surgery and get myself to any risk. I approached Dr.Pradheep for this problem. I did two elements of pancha bhoota healing and miraculously within a week 80% of the swelling went away. After 2 weeks of this treatment the liquid gradually disappeared. Now it has returned to normal condition. Being a scientist, I still find hard to believe how this simple approach could solve these complex health issues. Thanks to Dr.Pradheep Chhalliyil and Sakthi Foundation.

Debra, I beg to differ. Just because there is an injury, this does not mean that it cannot be healed naturally!

And I don't think you can compare this condition to a broken arm.

Just happened to come across this while reading ...

"The Chemistry of Man" by Dr. Bernard Jensen

Chapter on Silicon

pg 320

Lack of Silicon Reserve

When silicon reserves have been precipitated from the body, possible manifestations include hydrocele, scrotal hernia, dandruff, scirrhus, thyroiditis, pleural inflammations, varicella, sacral disability, spina bfida, contractions of flexor muscles, ingrown toenails and other nail abnormalitites, cramps and tension in ovaries, echondroma.

Hi Jasmina,

Go to my website and it has my story from 3 years ago, it will soon be updated. But hopefully it will give your friend an idea. If my father the whole time wouldn't of been planting a seed like you are doing for your friend, I would of never had the knowledge when it was my turn for this type of healing and believe me there was a time that I thought this was witch craft.
