This would take some research to determine. Otherwise, we are

speculating. My understanding is that the Chinese physicians, as great

observers of natural phenomena, carefully noted the progression of

'warm diseases' and compared their development to cold damage and wind

strike diseases. Because the warm evils progressed much more quickly

than cold damage, it was postulated that the disease evil entered

through the nose and mouth, because the exterior pattern quickly moved

inwards when compared to cold damage, which was said to enter through

the skin, pores and body hair.

Ok, take the wen bing as an example, it is of course more complex even from

your view point then what you state above. Since many times you have clearly

stated just because so and so says this does not mean... (when it is

convenient for you)

Z'ev has elaborated on some of the possibilities how wen bing in part

evolved, apart from that lets then see how wen bing is practice in Asian

countries and else where. If it is western influence then it is a good

example of how Chinese medicine can evolve (call it what you like). Now,

some things that are relevant is that Chinese people at least some say it is

western influence i.e. acknowledge other sources. I have seen Chinese

medicine acknowledge other sources, but often see western people (what ever

that means) not acknowledging what they are doing is a complex origin from a

another place of origin then there's.

So what?

The focus here, can be a very good example of something practical for the

human kind (whish in this case happens to be Chinese medicine and its

complexities that it inevitably develops within and around it). Lets focus

on that.

It is obvious to practice wen bing one needs to practice study i.e.

contemplate think more then say just 200 hours and now you are a specialist.

I probably do not know how to interpretate interpretate e mail conversations

and often wonder do you and others actually listen to each others, or is it

just a aim of trying to be right all the time? (what ever that means?)
