Guest guest
I am a 27 yr old disabled woman who has major depression....I take my meds every day but they only help so much. I try my best to eat healthy....I drink Green or Tulsi or other herbal teas, I took St. John's Wort & it didn't do ANYTHING that came close to helping.....Would Vitamins or supplements help??? Guest guest
Dear Moderator, I am getting messages, from this group only, repeated multiple times! This one was repeated seven times! If there's a problem with the group messaging, could you please let every one know. If it is just me, please let me know so I can try to do something about it! Thanks, Domingo Krystal wrote: > > I am a 27 yr old disabled woman who has major depression....I take my > meds every day but they only help so much. Guest guest
--- Krystal, I think we are all wired differently when it comes to things that help. Two things that have helped me anxiety and depression wise are vitamin B1 and valerin root, but it took a month or longer to tell any difference. Aside from that I have found nothing in alternative medicine that have helped those two symptoms, but there are a lot of things I have not tried. Guest guest
I've been looking for treatments for myself for the past 3 years. One thing that works great for me is a product called " Plus " from a company called Mannatech. I do not sell the stuff, so it doesn't benefit me to convince you. I do know that it has worked very well for me. Also, I've heard the Omega 3-6-9 works well. While I do take it, I'm not sure if it's what's doing the trick or if it's the Plus. www.mannatech.com , " kenniemo96 " <lfordgraham wrote: > > --- > Krystal, > > I think we are all wired differently when it comes to things that > help. > Two things that have helped me anxiety and depression wise are > vitamin B1 and valerin root, but it took a month or longer to tell > any difference. Guest guest
Hi Krystal, Gamma Amino Butyric Acid or just GABA helped me a lot, 500 mg a day in the morning on an empty stomach or just when you think you need it. Other people I have heard from have taken up to 2 grams and were pleased with the results. You can read more about this inhibitory neurotransmitter on the web. Personally, though, I think a lot of depression can come from poor digestion. Leaky gut and ensuing allergies seem to trigger the nasties in my case. Best of luck, zamyrabyrd , " Krystal " <katgrrrrl99 wrote: > > I am a 27 yr old disabled woman who has major depression....I take my > meds every day but they only help so much.
