Hi. I havent posted in awhile but thought i would try to see if anyone can

help. My daughter 26 - mother of a 5 yr old - has had very sore breasts and

lumps since giving birth. Also she leaks a milky substance. She has seen a gyn

and all they say is---you dont want a mammagram at this age. No one wants to

help her. Does anyone know of a remedy that could calm her breasts so they wont

hurt so much. I'd like to find an alternative doc in utah---anyone know of one?

Thanks,

Carol

I'm not a professional on the subject, but my resource is telling me a heating

pad with 15  minute intervals helps the pain quite a bit and the vitamin D

deposits will eventually dissolve.

Find an acupuncturist, preferably who also does herbs. Sounds like some

local qi and blood stagnation.

Sore breasts are a symptom of an excess of estrogens. Bio-identical progesterone

cream is a great approach and she'll probably feel much better in other ways

too.

Be sure she's avoiding (endocrine disrupting) petrochemicals, xenoestrogens, and

soy products. Drink more water and limit caffeine. Use organic, hormone free

meat and dairy products to avoid estrogens.

Cabbage leaves!!! Put them in the fridge for 1/2 an hour so they're nice and

cool and then pop them in your bra. Worked wonders for me when I was breast

feeding and things got painful.
