Guest guest Report post Posted June 18, 2009 With the Zicam scare out there right now, and the recent AP articles calling alternative medicine invalid, I think it is important to point out a couple things: 1. that not ALL Zicam products are homeopathic (the news articles are incorrectly labeling Zicam as a homeopathic product), and 2. the issue with the loss of smell is due to the ingredient zinc gluconate - which is NOT homeopathic. This recent article explains the basics of homeopathy, how it works and the science behind it. Feel free to share it and post any comments. https://www.examiner.com/x-11401-Orlando-Alternative-Medicine-Examiner~y2009m6d1\ 7-Scientific-validation-of-homeopathy--the-science-of-alternative-medicine-part-\ III Thanks!
