Hello,

I do not want to cause trouble if there are any YL distributors

here, it is very hard to get info about them without paying- a

request for info got me a website they created for me - I never used

it, I was on there list for a few days, got a few e-mails and kinda

got the feeling that I was being sucked into a money scam, they

offer seminars, very costly, that are close to my home by I am

leary. Plus they seem to offer mostly there own blends, which I

don't care for.

I would appreciate any insight on them- again I don't want to offend

anyone who is a member of this organization.

Thank-you

them with anyone else's ten foot pole!

Check out the Young Living Files

That info contained there is just the tip of the iceberg about those

dangerous sheisters, dare I go so far as to say - borderline cult

members! ....

And PLEASE feel free to offend the organization of YL on my list anytime

- we don't bother to offend the distributors as they too are victims of

the scam and are being used - we feel sorry for them and just try to

unbrainwash if possible! ;)

Oh Chris, Marilyn-

You're are being too gentle with this naive young person. (Naive only in

the term

of lack of information and knowledge about the demon seed that abounds, no

offense meant

to you, plenty heaped on Gary the smuck Young.)

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! DON'T LOOK BACK! DON'T BUY IN! DON'T DRINK THE KOOL AID,

DON'T SMELL THE POTION. Educate yourself, be a survivor.

Borderline cult, Chris, you are too kind.

Ok I will sip some tea and breathe and chill out....

Run you poor child, run, they have not captured you yet.

Ok mellowing out.

On an herbal remedy list that I am on....someone asked about learning more re:

EOs. One of the more ...how do I put this.... " know-it-alls " is a good phrase

suggested she research the Young Living Oils. He would even suggest a dealer

for her. I wanted to say something but I am more of a lurker on that list and

not really knowing much about YL except what you good folks have said in the

past, I didn't know what exactly to tell this person. Any suggestions? I

really want to butt in and warn her but need you alls experience to lean on.

Hi Linda, (and Doug if you're there <grin>),

You could, if you wanted to, e-mail her off-list and warn her...........or just

butt in and tell it like it is onlist! :) Good luck!

Hey Linda,

Just post the Link that Chris put out there a few minutes ago. Just say it's

an informational link about Young Living (after all, it's RESEARCH LOL)and

leave it at that. If people REALLY are interested in checking out the

company, then they will, if not, well, they deserve what they get! IMO

Cheers!

Here is the post I made to the other list. The moderator does not allow links

to other webpages so I couldn't give the link.

Hello all,

I am usually a lurker here on this list, have been taking in all of the great

info for quite a few month now but I just had to say something in regard to the

above statement. Several months ago I started researching EOs and reading

everything about them. My opinion and I want to say that again, My opinion, of

Young living is....stay away from that company. I don't want to offend any

dealers that may be here and I know Doc doesn't like links to other

companies posted so if you would like more information about them you can email

me privately at redbarn@i... There are several

more reputable sources to get EOs. Again this is my opinion as well as all of

the aromatherapists that I know.

Well Linda' Welcome to the wars of Aromatherapy! ROFLMAO! Be prepared for

comments like, They sell therapeutic grade oils (RUBBISH! No such animal)

which is why they cost alittle (LOT) more. They have pure oils (so does

everyone else), they grow all their plants and distill them themselves. Yea

RIGHT! Roses from UTAH? SANDALWOOD from Utah? yep!

Have fun and don't get frightened by the responses you may recieve.

Cheers!

Sorry this is a bit late in the thread, but only just seen the mails.

I just cannot understand the mind processes of anyone who

acknowledges that Young Living is a scam company, yet then goes and

asks if their oils are any good.

What the heck is the point in buying oils (even if they are ok) from

a company whose top honcho - Gary Young - is a proven liar of the

worst kind. That statement has been well clarified by the article by

Dr. Briggs as well as numerous other investigations by a variety of

people over the years. With the record of a company boss like that,

then it should be clear to anyone that his lies will permeate

throughout the whole of their business activities.

Because most people want cold, hard facts about things. I do not know this

woman personally, only via the phone as a customer. Just because I say

someone is a liar, most probably will not make a dent in her thinking, just

because *I* said it.

I have had no experience with Young or any of his products. *I* certainly

would not go by hearsay and most of my friends/customers do not either.

There are thousands of people from the talk on here, who do not know if he's

a liar or not, so buying his oils makes sense to them.

I figured the mind processes were evident to thinking adults.

Hi Martin,

I've had quite a few people basically shrug off the fact that GY and YL

are a scam organization and say " but if their oils are good ... " which

in my mind is a shame that anyone would want to do business with and

support an organization that is unscrupulous!

When I posted an editorial to a magazine in Colorado against RDT and

called GY a quack at the end of it you wouldn't be surprised how many

personal attacks I received, calling me a jealous person with malicious

intent who was just seeking to promote myself and all the praises that

GY got as a wonderful human being out to save the planet ;) Mind you, I

never once mentioned my business or web site or anything in the letter,

just that I passed a clinical aromatherapy course and talked about the

dangers of irritation and sensitization when using essential oils neat.

I posted Graham's YL Files web link and the link to Eva's (Dr. Briggs')

article in the editorial and all they focused on was how could anyone

post any article from " Quackwatch " since the guy who runs that site can

be a bit extreme against any alternative therapies ... but they ignored

any and all of the facts. PERIOD!

Good thing was I got a few personal phone calls from folks who actually

looked me up in the phone book just to say thanks for writing the

letter, so I suppose a few folks listened and know better!
