Stephen, the Wellcome Trust (and the Wellcome Foundation is I believe an old

name for it) has nothing to do with the drug company although Wellcome

started both organisations. They are completely separate now. A quote from

the Wellcome website

" The Wellcome Library preserves the record of medicine past and present to

foster understanding of medicine, its history and its impact in society.

One of the world's greatest collections of books, manuscripts, pictures and

films around the meaning and history of medicine, from the earliest times to

the present day. We are freely open to the public without appointment and

provide a wide range of enquiry services "

It might be a good idea to check the website at

http://library.wellcome.ac.uk/index.html before your paranoia carries you

away.
