What is in the hepdissolve? I am curious why you think that those 300

'stones' were actuall gallstones?

hi Jason,

details in a book called The Amazing Liver Flush, I forget

the author, and yes some stones are not actual gall stones. THe fact

is stones are made and get stuck in the liver and sometimes get stuck

in the gb too, they are composed of all sorts - minerals, fats ,

proteins, etc. My hepdissolve has gravel root, hydrangea, elecampagne,

parsley, horsetail, dandelion, cornsilk as a base and I play about

with other bits and pieces, as needed for individuals

Thank you for the link... I have to say that the Liver flushes, at

least in my mind, create some bit of uncertainty. Sure, the flushes

sound good on paper, and actually I have done 1 about 10 years ago and

saw around 50-100 stones.. BUT, were these really stones? I don't

think so.

Around the same time (that I did the flush) I belonged to Paracelsus

newsgroup with Mitch Stargrove, and we discussed this any many

alternative therapies like ear candles. IT was made up by naturpaths,

MD's, Acus etc. – It was a very educated group… (Do some of you

remember?) Well these stones were tested and the results said that

they were not at all gallstones. (I did think it was funny that at

age 23 I had 50-100 stones????) – It was more a product of the Epson

salts and olive oil making coagulated looking soap stones.

Anyway this is why I ask… I have my doubts.. For proof: I would like

to see ultrasounds of people that have stones, then do the flush and

have a follow-up to see if they are gone. This could be done over 1

week so that other therapies and diet changes don't change.

Also for more proof I would like some more testing on the stones… I am

open to this flush idea, but at least in the past the evidence has not

panned out.

Finally, I think this is a major problem with alternative medicine and

finally with internet resources. I don't believe everything I read

and especially everything on the internet. I think stats are very

tricky animals and internet sites are notorious for not only

misinterpreting data but actually lying (wow, imagine that…) People

put up websites to prove points, this is not objective data at that point…

well enough of my rant, Just thought I would throw my 2 cents on the

liver flush thing…Curious what others think about this

hello,

jason, yes its me again. All the various flushing styles do

produce stones some of which are not the classic gb stones. Stones

are made in the liver and get stuck in the gb.... no, no... been thru

this.. I have many patients who have had stones, some with medical

confirmation and some not, and all, without exception report benefits

in well-being>and health - improved breathing ( passing stones was

the last step on an asthmatic I cured las t year) no pain, no wind, no

bloating, less pain in knees, better quality stool (colour/texture

etc), no headaches etc etc. Last xmas one of mmy patients had medical

confirmation via ultrasound of NO STONES, whereupon she showed the doc

a jam jar half full and confirmed absence of digestive symptoms - doc

was speechless apparantly. And yes, yes I know this is all anecdotal,

but I'll take anecdote, especially mine, over science any day (science

said for years that HRT doesn't cause cancer and does prevent heart

disease and osteoporosis, but look where we are now!! Science also

said maggots on gangrene is a bad idea but........ leeches and

blood-letting is absurd but....... anybody read the lancet?

Thats 2 cents from me too
