Guest guest
Hi all, Found some new info on autism. Taken from:http://bmj.bmjjournals.com/uknews/news20040601.shtml#2 Scientists at Reading University have found that probiotic drinks may help children with autism. Probiotics are considered a valuable aid for doctors - in some countries, it is routine to give good bacteria intravenously to intensive care patients. Medics have found a regular supply can help hospital patients make speedier recoveries. Other research found significant results for recurrent thrush, IBS and related gut disorders. At present, a team at Reading are screening several strains of probiotic bacteria to see which will intervene best against clostridia.
