I asked him about Progesterone, and he said that for my age 67 I needed Phytoestrogens.. I had very dry skin which he stressed as a symptom.. I bought the creme from him Phyto Prolief, Arbonne International. I have also been taking Hot Flash by Source Naturals. Very soon I noticed that my brain was more clear. Guest guest
Juana I am so very sorry to read this and know the deep ache you must feel. I assume your son is in ahospital and being given drugs. This is where things get tricky My goals would be if I had to deal with this, would be: 1. Keep him (and me) calm and quiet 2. Do what I could to reduce inflammation and swelling 3. Support the liver to help with the pharmaceuticals and trauma, gently, with things like dandelion weak tea and milk thistle 4. Help the damaged nerves reconnect with assorted vitamins, minerals and amino acids. 5. things like chlorella and spirulina are said to be helpful with radiation... it's the iodine. 6. use antimicrobial essential oils sparingly in his room to ward off unintended infections. May you find the source of strength you need to help both yourself and your son. mjh In a message dated 1/2/2006 10:41:25 PM Eastern Standard Time, writes: Mon, 2 Jan 2006 16:19:53 EST dadsjuana please help My son was caught in crossfire and was shot twice. Guest guest
Thank God your son is alive Juana. Two boys I loved very much (both young teens and very good boys) from different families and in different cities have lost sons to this kind of insane and random violence in the last few years. It's a miracle that your son is alive. When you ask about speeding healing I wonder what has been done and what is his present condition? I hesitate to suggest anything specific for healing without more specific information. I would use essential oils (for you as well) to help with the stress and terror of such an event. The oils I have found helpful for grief and trauma are Rose otto, Frankincense carterii or sacra, a good quality Indian Sandalwood (I don't suggest unless there is real need normally), Helichrysum, Bergamot (and other citrus oils) Rose Geranium, and Clary Sage. Let me know if you need any help. Guest guest
Dear Juana, We are all sending your son energy, and meanwhile, you can also help to facilitate healing by " tapping " for him. I took the liberty to send the easier to learn presentation to your email, it is in a zip file in an attachment. MUCH easier than the free handbook on the website. Guest guest
Hi Juana, I suggest at least two flower essences for you... Self-Heal to speed the healing, and Yarrow for the radiation. FES makes both - http://www.fesflowers.com/self_heal_flower_essence.htm - I can't a direct link to their yarrow, but if you enter the online store it's in the list. as well as a Yarrow essence & tincture formula that may or may not be appropriate for him: http://www.fesflowers.com/yarrow-formula.htm There's also a radiation repair essence blend at http://www.nmessences.com/super/radiation_repair.html if you want to use an all-essence (no tincture) solutions. -Josh >What can I give him to speed >his healing and to cleanse him of all the radiation? Guest guest
Hi Juana, I'm so sorry to hear about your son, but I'm glad he's alive. I don't have any oils for you outside of the care he's getting in the hospital, but I volunteer at CHOC - Children's Hospital of Orange County and nothing beats light touch massage for healing. I go in the rooms and spend time with children whose parents aren't able to be there and for older children who are very ill, I'll sit there and stroke their hair, give them a light rubdown of teir arms and legs and feet. Touch really makes a difference in their response and can speed the healing process. Also, playing music. There was an article recently where certain types of classical music was piped through to a NICU ward (I think it was the NICU or PICU) and they noticed a positive response in the healing process, so science is beginning to realize that things other than straight medicines work. See if the doctor will let you get a small CD player and play some of his favorite music either very lightly or through some headphones for him. Keep us posted. Guest guest
Dear Julia, I looked. And grinned. Not because anything was funny, but because it took me back to the early seventies when all us back-to-the-landers (aka hippies) smugly expected society to start crumbling around our ears any day now. While we were snugly surviving on our self-sufficient homesteads. I still have a Corona hand grain grinder somewhere. Actually, bread made with freshly ground flour is incredibly yummy. Anyway, we dared not buy any electrical appliances for years, because what was the point if everything was going to collapse anyhow? Being prepared for emergencies is always a good idea. But I have enjoyed my washing machine the last 14 years. What will be will be. See ya in the next incarnation. It's weird the way they do links on to the file section; they only work on the single computer they were generated for. Click on this one http://health.Chinese Traditional Medicine Then look for the file that's called RightHandHXY-1.jpg (about the 5th one down) Hopefully that will help out As a side note I looked for the company, and it appears that their webpage on that chart once worked, but no longer works or is down temporarily. http://www.china-handpoint.com/ You could also try e-mailing haoxing and if they are still there if they could help you out. Guest guest
Yeah, I could probably spend a few hours on this and translate some of the words there. These are mostly body parts and I recognize some of the characters. But this is also based on Korean Hand Acupuncture. I'm sure if you search for those terms you can find some maps of the hand as a microsystem. I might add too that these maps may be different from school to school, don't get too fixated on any one authority in this regard. For instance, ear acupuncture points vary somewhat between the French and Chinese schools (theoretical schools of thought.) -al. -- , DAOM Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. Guest guest
Hi Mary, I'm sorry to hear that Malcolm still has the stomach pains. However, the fact that he can still teach self-defense classes shows that he has what it takes to beat this demon. Have you tried castor oil packs for the stomach pains? If not, here is how to do it (if often helps for pain caused by intestinal blockages). Materials needed: 1. Flannel cloth 2. Plastic sheeting (no color) 3. Electric heating pad (not essential) 4. Two or three safety pins 5. Castor oil 6. Bath towel Prepare a soft flannel cloth, preferably of wool flannel. Fold the cloth so that it is two or four thicknesses. It should measure roughly ten by twelve to fourteen inches after being folded (for abdominal application). Pour some castor oil on the cloth using a plastic sheet underneath to prevent soiling other articles. The cloth should be quite wet but not dripping with oil when picked up. Apply the cloth to the area of the body that needs treatment, keeping the plastic sheet on the outside. Place a heating pad (or hot water bottle) on the plastic over the castor pack. If using a heating pad, turn it firstly to low, then to medium and then to as high as the body is comfortable with but take care not to burn the skin. Finally, wrap a folded bath towel around the trunk of the person to keep the castor oil pack in place and fasten it in place with the safety pins. Keep on for an hour to an hour and a half. Afterwards, clean the skin with a solution of baking soda and water (two teaspoons to a quart). The pack can be kept for repeated use and need not be thrown away. (From 'The oil that heals" by Dr William A. McGarey). Apply the castor pack once or twice per day. You should see a difference in the pain situation within 3 or 4 days. You should also know that if Malcolm is not completely sold on the idea that the S/OPC plus the rest of the protocol will heal him but has reservations and is thinking about trying chemo, then his own mental block will slow the healing process. It is the consciousness of the person that is the real healing factor. The S/OPC and other supplements are only the TOOLS used by the body in the healing process but it is the MIND that drives it. It is like having a top of the range car with an inebriated driver behind the wheel. You need both the car and the driver to get somewhere! Try the castor oil pack (AND the S/OPC, NAC, Budwig and green smoothies). Marc Swanepoel
Guest guest
Hi Marie, We are currently caregiving a good friend of ours (87) that has been told she has terminal bone cancer and there is 'nothing' they 'can do for her'. Among other things, we use the three B's, Budwig, Batmanghelidj, and Benevolence to make her life more enjoyable. They seem to be working well after nearly four months of care. She has very little, if any pain and is gaining a little weight and leg strength. We began by checking her urine color, a 'Batman' diagnostic tool from page 158 of his book, " Your Body's Many Cries For Water " . " Color of Urine: The normal color of urine should not be dark. It should ideally be almost colorless to light yellow. If it begins to become dark yellow, or even orange in color, you are becoming dehydrated. It means the kidneys are working very hard to get rid of toxins in the body in very concentrated urine. That is why urine becomes darker in color. Dark colored urine is a good sign of dehydration. " We re-print this knowing it is a preventative measure, but think it is an important aid to anyone dealing with a 'diseased' loved one. On page 159, Dr. 'Batman' gives the 'protocol' for helping to correct dehydration in kidney problems. You can get his book at http://www.watercure.com We have been using Dr.Johanna Budwig's " Quark " for many years because she found 'dead' fatty acids in every cancerous cell she examined in her research work. Her 'Quark' helped many with cancer, some over night. Quark is like our cottage cheese and is mixed with 'living' flaxseed oil. We use her protocol daily and have included our friend. We use " Udo's Blend " of oils in our cottage cheese which is a balanced blend of many beneficial oils. Udo Erasmus wrote, " The Fats that Heal and The Fats that Kill " . The third B, Benevolence, is the most important. Loving kindness and caring will help your loved ones body heal much faster. Guest guest
Hello, please remember that each of us is unique, and what works for one may not work for all. Please keep in mind that you need to try all that has proven to work. Check your references carefully. The Budwig system is certainly a proven protocol for some forms of malignant cells, but may not work for others. Make sure that all the food she eats is organic and that if possible she eats small meals several times a day. It sounds like her liver is over burdened, is she taking a proven form of milk thistle? The research that you search has to come from a reputable source. Most of us are not health practioners, and that makes the research one of the important tools we have. Guest guest
Marie,Although things may look bleak, don't give up hope, not ever. Have you learned anything new today? My first question is has he been doing the liver cleanses while taking Oleander and following the Protocol?Chemo may have seemed to arrest the cancer for a time, but in the long run, that would not have been the answer. His quality of life, not to mention his immune system would have been highly compromised. Have you given any thought to adding Cesium Chloride to kill the cancer cells while the Protocol has time to work? I would hold on to the hope and faith that Malcom can get past this and that things will turn around. To do otherwise would be to give up and we must never give up, because once we do, we surely lose. Marc had very good advice. Is Malcolm taking the supplements that he mentioned?I can feel the suffering and pain in your post and I want you to know that not only my prayers, but the prayers of this group are with you.My Best, oleander soup , "infomcf" <infomcf wrote:>> Hi,> > I haven't posted here before but I feel tonight that I need some help and advice and really just people to talk to.> > Malcolm had to go to hospital tonight as the pains in his stomach had got so bad and his stomach has swollen up so much.> > Anyway, they wouldn't tell us too much tonight as it was 2am by the time they had taken bloods, x-rays etc. What they did tell us isn't good. Guest guest
Hi , Thank you for your reply. Malc was doing the liver cleanses but over the last few weeks he hasn't been very well so he hasn't done any. It said not to do them if the patient was ill. I totally agree with you about the chemo but in the last 3 years he has only been really ill twice and both of these times was when he came off the chemo. I so want some of the alternative treatments to work for him as it has for so many other people but nothing seems to be working. Malcolm used the cesium chloride a year ago but he had a really bad reaction to it so I don't think that is an option. He has been taking the supplements that Marc has mentioned. He has been on Tony's complete anti-cancer protocol for the last 3 months (and I mean every bit of the protocol - not missing even one bit out) as well as taking 12 teaspoons of OPC (and that is higher than the maximum doseage suggested for OPC). I understand what you mean about not giving up but it is so difficult when he has been fighting this for 3 years and trying so many different things and yet he is worse now than he has ever been. Do you think he can still turn things around? Guest guest
Bless your heart Marie. I will always say that things can be turned around. I am the eternal optimist. As I said, to do otherwise would be to accept defeat. Yet, I understand your apprehension. Did the doctors say anything more today? Anything specific? And is he taking anything to detox his liver while not doing the cleanses, such as milk thistle? Now, when you say he is taking 12 teaspoons of OPC do you mean the liquid Sutherlandia OPC, or do you make your own "soup?"Please know that I indeed have you and Malcolm in my prayers and please know that I am also here for you personally. Let us know what the doctors say.My very best, oleander soup , "infomcf" <infomcf wrote:>> Hi ,> > Thank you for your reply. Guest guest
Hi , The doctors today haven't really said anything more. The doctor we saw last night was very " doom and gloom " . He suggested transfering Malcolm to a specialist cancer hospital to make things easier for him as he is so ill. I mean what is that meant to mean??? When I explained that Malc was taking a self-defence class on Tuesday night and basically jumping about demonstrating etc he just didn't know what to say or do! I am hoping that he can get out of the hospital tomorrow as he startd IV vitamin C on Monday and is supposed to get it every day but it obviously hasn't had a chance to work yet. However, for the last 3 to 4 weeks he has been having IV Alpha lipoic acid - so how come that hasn't helped his liver????? He has been taking 400mg of alpha lipoic acid orally every day as well as 1500 milk thistle every day but for the last 2 to 3 weeks he has been struggling to take tablets so he hasn't had anywhere near that amount. He has been taking 12 teaspoons of the Sutherlandia OPC. I am totally lost and puzzled as to why nothing is working for him. I look forward to your advice. Thanks Marie oleander soup , " M " <luellamay129 wrote: > > Bless your heart Marie. I will always say that things can be turned > around. I am the eternal optimist. Guest guest
Hi Marie,Specialist cancer hospital to make things easier on him? Are they referring to hospice? If this is the case, I would never let a loved one go into a hospice situation except at home where I could keep a watchful eye over everything that goes on. And even then I would do all in my power to address the cancer. I would never stop. The fact that he was so active in the self-defense class on Tuesday night I would say is a good sign. How is his energy level in the hospital? More importantly, how is his spirit? As for the IV Alpha lipoic acid not working after three to four weeks, I can't give you an answer and frankly, I don't know the average time that it takes to work. But I would say to keep on giving it to him along with the milk thistle. Is there any way you could find liquid supplements for him? And, hopefully, the IV Vitamin C will also help. You said that he has been taking 12 teaspoons of Sutherlandia OPC for 10 months. What was his diet like during this time? Any processed foods, sugar, etc.? Was he taking Marc's recommended supplements along with Sutherlandia OPC? Unfortunately, nothing is a "magic bullet," that is why we always recommend that the protocol, together with a healthy diet also be followed while taking Oleander. Please let us know when he gets out of the hospital and don't let the doctors take hope away from you and most importantly, away from Malcolm. I hate it when they are so vague. I would ask for specific answers, but maybe not necessarily in front of Malcolm, so you can see exactly where you stand. In the meantime, please know that we are here for you and Malcolm. oleander soup , "infomcf" <infomcf wrote:>> Hi ,> > The doctors today haven't really said anything more.
