Mix 50/50 (one part flakes to one part water) then dilute as you wish for different body parts as some places Will be more sensitive to itching from it than others. Normally you just rub this on your body, wait 30 minutes, then rinse off, though you may add the flakes directly to your bath water and soak in that. Most people tend to rub it on though.

 

Always keep Nigari (Magnesium Chloride) well sealed from the air it will absorb Humidity and turn to slush. The slush can be dried out in a warm oven but that's a Chore. We keep it in two ziplock bags and not the kind with the plastic zipper as those leak air.

 

Grind the flakes in a coffee grinder for taking internally but keep this powder well Sealed in a good airtight container.

 

 

The following information is from an efriend of mine that has been using these magnesium methods for a while and is sensitive enough to understand what is happening to his body:

 

I'll start with the Rheumatoid arthritis first. This protocol is excellent for getting Rid of a lot of effects of Rheumatoid and will in my opinion liberate the Pathogens that are hidden away in calcifications so that they may be killed

By other protocols. The most effective protocol I ever did, the one that Finally knocked out my own rheumatoid and other related conditions, was to Take Iodine and DMSO together. Calling it a protocol is wrong however

Because I really never developed what could be called a protocol. I had Built up a good amount of iodine in my body by taking long-term and Increasing doses of both Magnascent and Lugol's, and then taking DMSO

apparently sent that iodine into places it had not gone before, happily Rooting out germs along the way However, I did have some indication that There was further die-off from using the magnesium bicarbonate protocols (detailed below on how to use this mag/bicarb process).

 

Magnesium Oil is simply a mixture of magnesium chloride (nigari/mag chlor Hereafter) in water. It feels oily, that's why it's called oil but it's not Really oil. You can buy expensive mag oil (at www.ancientminerals.com or www.globallight.com) or you can make it yourself. To Make it yourself you simply mix the two together (nigari flakes and distilled water) at the ratio that you are Comfortable with. I have used it extensively and up to a very strong ratio Of 2/3 water and 1/3 mag chlor (nigari). Mag oil of any strength can really itch on Certain sensitive areas. While it is a good protocol, along with full or Partial body soaks, it never did for me what the mag bicarb effort did.

 

Yes, mag bicarb is different from mag chlor, but there are two ways to make Mag bicarb. The "2 powders" method involves using mag chlor (nigari), but the Seltzer method does not.

 

Here are the two methods in a nutshell: (the mag bicarb is taken internally and the mag oil/mag chlor is used externally)

 

This is the 2 oral methods for taking a powerful form of magnesium:

 

METHOD ONE: Seltzer & Milk of Magnesia (MoM) method (this is the milder method and I Suggest starting with this one):

1--1 liter of any type Seltzer water (usually bought cheaply at Walmart or grocery store) chilled for minimum 2 hours, uncap and don't shake

2--Add 3 tablespoons Milk of Magnesia, shake well and check it and shake it Until there is no settlement. This is a concentrate.

3--Suggested dilution into Distilled or purified drinking water (no chlorine) is 1/3 liter of the Seltzer MoM to one Gallon water. Drink a gallon of this water, sipped, throughout the day.

 

METHOD TWO: "Two Powders" method (much more harsh but much faster acting, and I do NOT Suggest starting with this one):

1--Magnesium chloride flakes, grind to a powder, keep very dry and well sealed In zip lock bag or good plastic or glass storage container with double sealing lid.

2--Start by Taking on empty stomach, once daily, 1/8 teaspoon nigari/mag chlor powder, wait 3 minutes, take 1/8 Teaspoon of baking soda.

3--Be still for about 15 minutes after taking the above combo when you start doing this, taking note of any "funny" feelings.

4--Work up to 1/4 teaspoon daily doses. I found no reason to go higher and actually found too much to be detrimental to blood calcium levels.

 

 

The more I think about this, the more I realize that it was probably very Fortunate that the Seltzer MoM method came to me first and that I did it for Several weeks before moving on to the second method. Mark Sircus has cast a wet blanket on the Seltzer/MoM method, but I think it is probably very wise To start with the Seltzer/MoM method. You need to build up slowly because if you start out with the second method, you can overdose on magnesium very quickly.

 

 

The First method is like a family car, but even then it's like a cantankerous Car. Second method is like a monster truck, not for the faint of heart.

 

Be aware that both can cause quite a bit of pain and discomfort in Calcifications lodged in the circulatory system and can do so within 15 Minutes of ingestion. The second protocol is much more prone to do this. If You do this, you take full responsibility for your own actions. There is the Possibility of EMBOLISMS (caused from the calcium breaking up and pieces of it floating through the blood stream and causing a blockage in the heart or brain). Fortunately I did not have that to happen. MAJOR reason to start slowly. You do NOT want to start with method 2.

 

Both can cause pain and even looseness in calcified joints after dissolving That calcification. For alleviating that, you have to learn joint nutrition, Which is way too much to discuss here.

 

 

This helped greatly with my heart arrhythmias although I still needed more Iodine, especially potassium iodide, to beat that. I actually started down This road to alleviate heart arrhythmias. Boy did I ever get more than I

Bargained for and it was a really good bargain.

 

This helped with my blood pressure although the primary thing that lowered My BP was my focus on both natural and supplemental forms of vitamin C. I'm 55, still overweight, but my BP is running 125 or less over 80 or less. Lately I've seen it as low as 120/78. I just could not have believed this Would happen a couple of years ago. Back then I was regularly at 155-165 Over 80-90.

 

The first method did wonders for my left hip though for two days it made That hip hurt exquisitely; I'm very accustomed to the idea of "No pain no Gain". It will HURT when calcifications are dissolving (these forms of oral magnesium dissolve calcifications, which is why you MUST start slowly with this).

 

I continued on with the second method when the first was obviously doing Nothing else for me. Boy was I ever NOT disappointed. Everything after this Point is about the TWO POWDERS METHOD.

 

On two separate occasions, I felt something happening in my head, in my Brain. I knew it was my brain because there was no pain. All I can say is That it was a weird feeling and that the brain gets calcified too. Those two

Instances were by far the scariest thing that happened to me. They happened On successive nights (I did this mostly at night) and never happened again. They happened when I was taking 1/4 tsp of the 2 powders.

 

Honestly, the first time that head thing happened it scared me pretty bad. I Thought "OK Bubba you've really gone and done it now, you've given yourself A stroke". Well for all I know it could have been a mini-stroke but there

Were absolutely no negative effects otherwise. I just felt strange for a few Minutes, that's all. Everything still works.

 

I also had several instances of burning, near-pain sensations in my heart, Chest and carotid arteries. This was usually one place at time, one night at A time. It seemed to start in my heart for a few night, then moved to my Carotids, then to my chest. Eventually I felt nothing at all from taking as Much as 1/2 tsp of each powder.

 

The effect on my left hip, which has been a problem for me for a very long Time, started with the MoM method (method 1). Surprisingly, that method yielded Probably 75% of the overall total of good effect that I got in my hip from Both methods. Now I have no pain in that hip to speak of anymore. Although I Can tell it is not as strong as my right, it's getting stronger almost Daily. For the most part, that hip is no longer a big drag on my life now.

 

Whatever was wrong with that hip had a connection to numbness in my center 3 Toes of my left foot. That is gone now as well.

 

I also have had for 2-3 years a serious left heel pain which appeared to result from either a bone spur or calcification in my foot. This did not appear related to my hip problem. Whatever it was, it's gone and it went away rapidly from mag bicarb use.

 

My right knee was and continues to be very interesting. That knee has been turned slightly backwards and has been damaged by gout. In years past that knee would get bad and begin to get very wobbly. In recent years it had

Improved or so I thought. As it turned out, what I thought had been improvement was apparently calcification. The mag bicarb dissolved that calcification and the knee got really wobbly again. Some serious efforts at nutrition have really strengthened it since although it still gets sore. For

Now, rest and a neoprene brace brings it back for the most part, sometimes with a little help from DMSO and/or some Blue Emu cream. I still have a way to go with that knee.

 

My right big toe had been damaged by gout and gotten calcified. I could not squat on my toes because of it. That calcification was dissolved and the problem was resolved.

 

My neck has more damage from head trauma that I care to relate here. The mag bicarb caused a very good loosening of my neck, with much more gain of flexibility than I had previously, and there have already been many other things that have had very positive effects on my neck in the past 6-7 years or so. This was some real icing on that cake considering what a neurosurgeon told me about my neck about 5 years ago.

 

Now--here is another thing to look out for if you start getting too much magnesium in your system:

 

I Eventually developed Tetany from doing the 2 powders method too strong and too long. It took about two weeks of doing this every night, past the point of having any kind of *sensations*, before I encountered Tetany. (I did this Protocol nearly every night for a month, so all the sensations happened in the first two weeks.) I also had increased my dose to 1/2 tsp of each powder by this time. Tetany is a) not enough calcium ions in the blood and b) too many bicarbonate ions in the blood.

 

The tetany manifested as a very sore and tired neck, headaches all over my head, obvious scalp muscle aches, and the beginnings of a bit of heart arrhythmia. It was very easy and quick to reverse all of this by stopping

The protocol and drinking a lot of raw milk. None of that has returned now after several weeks. The raw milk supplied the extra calcium needed to balance the overdose of magnesium.

 

I'm doing this protocol only a couple of times a week now at most. I take something like 1/8 to 1/4 tsp of each powder, just eyeballing it.

 

I have now started on digestive enzymes and can tell that a few good things are happening from that, but for the really big stuff, that work is apparently done now.

 

As regards embolisms again...It is known that a certain fellow had a stroke from taking too much digestive enzymes too fast. I may be completely off base about this, and even hesitate to add this, but here's my mental picture of what goes on. My mental picture is that enzymes "eat" deposits and may do so in a ragged manner leaving dangling bits to break off and cause an

Embolism. My mental picture of the action of magnesium bicarbonate is that it acts like a belt sander leaving a fairly smooth surface; Repeated usage just comes back and sands the deposit again until it's gone. Like I said, I could be wrong.

 

 

 

Too much mag will Knock out your serum (blood) calcium which is needed for all muscle action. Weakness of all sorts will ensue. Wife and I have both done it now, only

Her muscle weakness was the result of taking too much potassium bicarb for a certain Protocol. Tetany is also defined as too much serum bicarb ions.

 

 

When Mark Sircus made so much noise about Transdermal Magnesium Therapy, I Jumped into that like a hog and wallowed around in it, quite literally, by

Doing nightly full body soaks. I can tell you that there is most definitely A limit to that. I found it after several nights when I started to have Heart palps and tunnel vision in a tub of warm mag-water and I had to crawl

Out over the edge of the tub before I passed out.

 

Fortunately we have raw milk which straightens it out in a hurry.

 

So best to start with making the mag chlor (mag oil from nigari) and just rubbing it into the skin. Let it soak for at least a half hour and then shower off. You can add the mag oil to bath water, but only do it a few times a week. If you do it every night--be VERY aware of sensations while in the tub, or muscle weakness outside the tub. If you experience any of this be sure to take some good calcium to balance the extra magnesium your body is dealing with.

 

Then you may want to back off on the soaks or rubs, and switch to the first Seltzer MoM method, then eventually to the mag bicarb method. Just always be aware of what your body is telling you. Then, switching between the rubs and the mag bicarb seems to be the best protocol once your body has acquired enough magnesium. Be sure at this time to also make sure you get a balancing calcium and potassium.

 

I think most everyone needs extra magnesium. The key is going s-l-o-w-l-y until your body adjusts, no matter which method you choose--oral or external. Don't combine both oral and external use in the beginning until you understand how your body is going to react to this.

 

You can gain great health benefits by adding magnesium to your body---just be aware. You have all the information you need above to start any of the magnesium protocols, plus all the warnings.

 

Do not let the warnings scare you off from trying magnesium. Simply go slow, give your body time to adjust, and you will soon start feeling much better.
