Guest guest
If a person's chronic liver-type symptoms increase noticeably in the spring, might this mean that the liver and its functions are suddenly ratcheting downwards, and will then stay there at the worsened stage; or could it mean that the body is trying to cure itself at this particular time? The person in question is trying to eat a better diet and take liver-type herbs, etc. Can anybody help me out here?
Guest guest
Dear Mrs. Barley: Yes, indeed, the change to Spring will bring new health challenges, and Dr. Holmes can probably elaborate. First, though, you need to tell us more about what is going on. What liver symptoms does the person have? Do you mean western medical symptoms or TCM? What type of diet is the person changing to, and what types of herbs is the person taking? Does the person see a TCM professional or a WM professional? There are many liver disease patterns, and it is important to break down all the parts of the equation to analyze them.
