Guest guest
Mary,Colloidal gold should not affect you like this. Makes me question the health food store. Is it true colloidal gold? A variation? This causes concern. I would bring it back and tell them what is going on and ask some questions. For sure I would stop taking it.Hugs, oleander soup , "Maria Stathopoulos" <mary1kon wrote:>> .> > I Get it from ahealth food store here in Australia.> > Hugs Mary>

Guest guest
. The product is made in Australia, it's true name is Oxy Min Gold - Plant Dirived Colloidal Minerals. What makes me thing twice was that, they said to keep in the frindge after you opened, wile with the colloidal Silver they dont say that, but ecually say, not to buy the product if it said on the bottle to refrigirate after opening, so i'm very confused right now, and i'm trowing the gold. There goes my $ 40 dollars. Thank you . Hugs Mary - May oleander soup Thursday, January 08, 2009 8:47 AM Re: colloidal gold Mary,Colloidal gold should not affect you like this. Guest guest
Speaking as a silversmith, it's not usually the gold you are allergic to (though some people CAN be allergic to pure gold, but that's pretty rare) but the added base metal. In the US there isn't any 24k jewelry sold--though Thailand sells it because they use it like money--so all gold jewelry is mixed with other metals here. The lower the k value, the more other metals are in it. Like 14k gold has more base metal than 18k gold does. Plus, our skin is usually more sensitive on neck and ears than on our hands, so any allergy to the base metals will show up there. I personally have "challenges" with 14 k on the right side of my body only! Odd, but not super rare. So you may not have a problem with the gold in your product at all, but with any one of the other metals in it. Samala, Renee ---- YES !!!!!!!!! I have- and still do take all of the herbs you mention , but as you know my depression is mostly weekends and it started after my husbands passing, i lost him on a friday, so every friday something clicks and i go down, i want to scream and cry to the top of my lungs, then logic takes over and i shut up. Guest guest
Mary,Forget the logic. That is depression's worst enemy. You are bottling your feelings up. If you feel like crying and screaming then do it. Let it all out.Your feelings are very normal. Losing a spouse is very, very painful. The loneliness is overwhelming, and it can last for a very long time. God gave us tears for when we are sad. It is important to use those tears if we need to. When we use "logic" and bottle them up, that is when depression surfaces. Believe me, I know. I have gone through this and it is by no means easy. It is the loneliest feeling in the world, yet, I know that it doesn't make you feel better. From the bottom of my heart I am so sorry that you are going through this.Bundles of love to you, oleander soup , "Maria Stathopoulos" <mary1kon wrote:>> Yes .> > I have- and still do take all of the herbs you mention , but as you know my depression is mostly weekends and it started after my husbands passing, i lost him on a friday, so every friday something clicks and i go down, i want to scream and cry to the top of my lungs, then logic takes over and i shut up.> I'm lucky though i have this group to come to and forget my problem for little while.> > Thank you Sweety you are my rock.> > Love you- Hugs Mary

Guest guest
Well, I wasn't really talking so much about your jewelry as just trying to point out that you are probably not allergic to the gold in your drink, but allergic to some other metal in your drink. You listed a LOT of metals in there. It could have been any one of them. Stop taking it for a while and see if you get better. If nothing changes in your situation, then you know the product is not bothering you. But if you stop taking it and then you feel better, then you know the product is bad for you. I think you will find great relief with the magnets though. Guest guest
Mary, Forgive me, but it sounds like you need to detox in a hurry. Really, the desire to scream, cry, or do other "crazy" things are usually the manifestation of toxins in your liver, blood, and nervous system. In Chinese medicine we say you have too much heat in your liver, or liver fire is rising. In any case you might want to start a liver cleanse and/or take milk thistle. Make sure you are moving your bowels at least twice daily if not more. Take an herbal laxative if you need to... you have to cleanse your body. Stay away from anything you are allergic to... foods, metals, etc. Stop taking anything that might exacerbate your condition. Excess sugar, salt, stimulants such as coffee and chemicals are a no no. Try to eat only organic foods. Sometimes exercise helps but what I have found to help quickly is a hot bath with epsom salts.... soak in a hot tub until you sweat. Try not to use chlorinated water if possible. Sharing your feelings with others may also help and it's ok to accept sympathy from others who love you. Good luck. Guest guest
No way . My girls where on anti-depresants for a year after their fathers passing, i'm not going to do this to them again. And because we are close i try to avoid bringing back memories, they worry enough about me as it is, they tell me to go out more, make new friends, take me out shopping, for long drives launchs or diners, fishing, we have long talks and even laughs, but they have a life to live, and not worry every moment about me it's not fare to them Believe me i know what i'm doing by not letting them see the whole picture, this is my pain now and i have to find my way out of the misery i'm in. Guest guest
Dear sweet Bob. Thank you for you intrest, but bob my problem is not physicalis is emotional and is not on all the time. You be surprised to know that i'm the only person i know to eat organically grown products my own for 10 years now. No sugar in my diet for the last 20 years, never have a drink in my life, having daily green juices from my garden, mixing my own herbal teas and tinctures, doing detoxing every 6 months, the only thing that i like is my coffee but i make up by going to bed ten thirty every night, getting up at 7 every morning, go for long walks and working around the house all day long, in few words Bob i'm a very healthy person, 61 years old and i have never taken medication in my life, but loosing my husband took the life out of me. Please dont get me wrong i do accept love and sympathy, but i dont want to take peoples time by feeling sorry for my self. Thank you for your intrest and suggestions though. Guest guest
Sure Mary. But know that if it bothers you when you ingest it, it may also still bother you when you put it on your skin. It just depends on how sensitive you are to it. But certainly try the cream method--that may just work out great. I hope so. It is such a pain to feel like we waste money! Guest guest
Mary, have you written your husband? It's very very good to sit down and write a big, long letter or two (on paper), to your husband. Tell him how much you love him still, and miss him, and are upset that he left you. Write it all out. Then when it's all written out, get a pretty candle, light it, say a prayer and then use the candle to light and burn the letters. Many different groups of people believe that the smoke will carry the letter's contents up to heaven, where your husband will read it. You can do this as often as you want. It feels great to do this. Samala, Renee ---- this is my pain now and i have to find my way out of the misery i'm in.
