Guest guest
Hi - Just curious as to why ancient scripts say goji is bad for your health. Have you heard of YOUTH JUICE? 7 organic berries and 3 sea vegetables...and ORAC rating of 13,000 per 3 ozs. A wholefood product, 31/2 lbs of berries in a 32 oz. bottle. , r vidhyasagar <dr_vidhyasagar_54 wrote: > > as per anciant scripts this fruit goji is bad for > health > VIDHYASAGAR > --- md29again wrote: > > > > > In a message dated 11/25/2007 9:11:43 AM Mountain > > Standard Time, > > nathlth writes: > > > > I did take Goji juice from freelife and then when it > > was gone, I got > > Thai-Go juice which has mangosteen and other high > > ORAC juices. Guest guest
Ancient scripts, What Ancient scripts are you reffering to since there are none mentioned here??? If you go to www.pubmed.gov and in the search menu type in LYCIUM BARBARUM (the Latin name for Goji Berry) you will find at least 89 tests showing nothing but GOOD so I would like to know just where you are getting all this bad info from, in fact I think you will have a hard time convincing the people that wrote into the site at www.gojihealthstories.com that goji is not good for you! , r vidhyasagar <dr_vidhyasagar_54 wrote:>> as per anciant scripts this fruit goji is bad for> health > VIDHYASAGAR> --- md29again wrote:> > > > > In a message dated 11/25/2007 9:11:43 AM Mountain> > Standard Time, > > nathlth writes:> > > > I did take Goji juice from freelife and then when it> > was gone, I got > > Thai-Go juice which has mangosteen and other high> > ORAC juices. Guest guest
I guess I will have to step in here. Have any of you ever tryed NingXia Red juice? In doing a study of NingXia Red, Via Viente, XanGo, Noni and Himalayan Goji drinks on the S-ORAC testing level--NingXia Red scored a 363 when the Himalayan Goji drink scored a 0. S-ORAC testing measures a product's ability to destroy the most dangerous and abundent free-radical--Superoxide. In laymans terms--this means that NingXia Red scored the highest in doing away with free-radicals and in rebuilding your immume system. You can go and check it out at www.ningxiared.com and see for yourself, try it and you will feel for yourself, better, healthier, more stamina, age-defing antioxidant and stimulate your immune defense. Guest guest
I just did a search on the so called (S-ORAC) test and the only thing it came up with was the NingXia Red juice and nothing else, so that leads me to believe that it was some kind of boggis test made up to make their product look better than all the rest. Kind of strange that in one breath how they praise the Wolfberry, or more commonly known as (Goji berry) and in the next breath say that it does zero, here is a part of the info I copied from the site you included in your post and how it praises Wolfberry or (Goji berry), you really should do some more research on it yourself. Supporting Eye HealthOne of the carotenoids found in the wolfberry (Goji Berry)in higher than normal amounts is called zeaxanthin. There are some forty clinical studies showing it is a powerful eye protectant. NingXia Red: The World's Most Powerful Antioxidant JuiceNingXia Red has benefits that may be life changing in their scope. No other juice we are aware of has such comprehensive, powerful, free-radical fighting abilities. The other juice ingredients found in NingXia Red, in addition to heart and DNA health benefits, provide synergistic antioxidant benefits that, when combined with wolfberry juice, (Goji juice) produce a product we are proud to claim as "The World's Most Powerful Antioxidant Juice." Its really hard to take their test serious since it doesen't seem to exist and they contradict themselves. , "Lynda K.B. Taylor" <timbercreek wrote:>> I guess I will have to step in here. Guest guest
There is another juice on the market which is a very powerful anti-oxidant drink. It's called Youth Juice. It's an all organic, wholefood juice which contains 7 berries and 3 sea vegetables. The ORAC rating is 13,000 per 3 ozs. You can check out the science behind the product at http://www.checkthescience.com . You can't order from this site as it has no connection with the company. The product is from Canada, and was introduced to the US (California) in June 2007. Guest guest
The reality is, that Goji juice is simply another fruit juice. It almost certainly has no distinctive qualities are advantages for people. The Goji berry is another matter. Most berries make wonderful additions to your diet, but it probably also doesn't have all the miraculous powers its said to have, mostly by the people selling it; juice or berry. We all should have learned, by now, the absurdity of finding a "miracle" food or "miracle" supplement. jp - AL Tuesday, November 27, 2007 7:25 AM Re: Gogi Juice Ancient scripts, What Ancient scripts are you reffering to since there are none mentioned here???
