Bush and 911

that he couldn’t believe it when he saw the first plane hit the first tower on TV. First there was NO television coverage of that happening until amature videos came in days later.

 

I don't have much use for Bush, but on 911, I was getting ready to go to work, and I leave at 7 a.m. I had the television on, and I was watching both planes fly into the towers. I was horrified.

 

Now I can wonder how in the world Bush didn't know about the planes flying toward the towers, and all the people on cell phones crying out for help, and I can imagine that there was much more that he knew. But I saw the planes myself that day. I recall how absolutely horrified I was. i went to work reluctantly wondering if we were being attacked, and I was scared for my son who was 2 blocks away from me. I kept the tv on until I started work, and I was very reluctant to be at work that day--all day--because I am a teacher, and I was concerned for all my students having seen what I saw about us being attacked.

 

How could Bush not have known what was going on? What happens to intelligence? I really haven't trust him since then.

Yes there was coverage all day long but my

point was that AT THE MOMENT OF IMPACT of the first plane, it WAS NOT televised.

There was no news crew standing there with a camera when that first plane hit.

Actual footage of the first plane hitting didn’t come in till afterwards when

amature videos started pouring in.
