Guest guest
Exploring Spirit At The Caritas Spiritist Center, 3775 Iris Ave., Suite 3B, Boulder Each Monday, 6 to 7 pm FREE! April's Theme: Brain, Mind and Spirit This month, at our Exploring Spirit weekly gatherings, we will review the latest neuroimaging research on various forms of higher states of consciousness and other anomalous experiences. Each week, we will show research by Dr. John DeLuca and others in an attempt to understand how Brain, Mind and Spirit may interact. Group discussion will follow each lecture. Topics: • 4/14: Varieties of Meditation-2: A very brief review of some of the ideas from the first talk – the benefits of meditation/self regulation practice, and the notion of attachment styles. -A brief overview of the application of analytical and compassion meditation as a fix. -a guided meditation experience related to the above. • 4/21: Healers and Distant Healing: An overview of some healing and distant healing techniques I have learned from healers I have directly studied with… These include Elizabeth Stratton, Rosalyn Bruyere, Mietek Wirkus, and Dr. Hew Len (Ho'oponopono). -This will largely be experiential in nature. • 4/28: Out of Body Experiences (OBEs) and Mediums: An overview of " the spectrum of paranormal experiences " including OBEs, NDEs, soul retrieval, past life regression, etc. This will also have an experiential component. Exploring Spirit is a weekly gathering open to all. Each month has a theme; each week, a topic addressing that theme. The gathering consists of an introduction of the weekly topic with open discussion, followed by cleansing passes administered by the healing staff. Refreshments are served after the gathering. www.caritasspiritistcenter.org <http://www.caritasspiritistcenter.org>
